Your concern for your mother and father is heard, and it reflects the honor God calls us to show to our parents. It is good and right to care for them in their need, to watch over them in sickness and to bring their needs before the Lord.
We join you in praying for your mother, that God would have mercy on her in her diabetes and in this fungal infection in her lungs. We pray for healing, for strength for her body, for wisdom for the doctors who treat her, and for comfort and peace for her and for you as you care for her. We also pray for your father, for his eyesight, for relief from headaches, for healing of his urinary tract problems, for the swelling in his feet to subside, for his blood pressure to be steadied, and for overall good health. We ask the Lord to sustain him, to ease his pain, and to restore strength according to His gracious will.
We pray trusting in Jesus Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father and by whose grace we are saved and healed. God is compassionate and He hears the prayers of His people, and even when healing comes slowly we can trust His goodness and His power. Continue to seek good medical care for both of them and to rest them in the Lord's hands, asking for patience and hope in this season.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this mother and father to You.
