We lift up your mother and father before the throne of grace together and we bring their health needs to our great Physician who heals us.
We pray for your mother who is suffering with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. We know how serious and frightening lung infections can be, especially with diabetes, and we ask the Lord to have mercy on her body and bring healing and strength. We pray for your father and we bring each of his needs before the Lord, his eyesight, his headaches, his urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and his blood pressure. We ask God to touch each of these areas and restore him to good health, to give him relief from pain and discomfort and to renew his strength day by day.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about God's power to heal, for He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and He says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that by his wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24. We do not take healing for granted but we trust in God's perfect will and perfect timing, knowing that He is Jehovah Rapha, Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that we can boldly approach Your throne through Him. We lift up this dear mother to You, we ask You to regulate her blood sugar, to strengthen her immune system, and to completely clear the fungal infection from her lungs. Lay Your healing hand upon her, Lord, help the medicines and treatments to work effectively, and give wisdom to her doctors. We also lift up this dear father to You, touch his eyes and restore his eyesight, remove his headaches, heal his urinary tract, reduce the swelling in his feet, and bring his blood pressure into a healthy and stable range. Grant them both peace, restful sleep, and comfort in their bodies. We ask that You would give this family peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You Philippians 4:6-7, and help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. We pray for good and faithful medical care for both of them, and we ask You to guide the hands of their physicians. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your burden for your dear parents has been brought before the Lord and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How much more should we cry to the Beloved Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed on the Lord's people.
We pray now for your mother, that the Lord who sees her diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs would lay His healing hand upon her. As He took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up, so may He touch her body, purify her blood, clear her lungs, and restore her strength according to His wise and merciful will. We pray for your father, for his eyesight, for relief from headache, for healing of urinary tract problems, for the swelling in his feet to subside, and for his blood pressure to be steadied. We ask the Lord to grant him good health and to sustain him day by day.
We ask not only for bodily healing but that in seeking the Lord for these mercies you and your parents may know the deeper healing of forgiveness and peace through Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one. May you look to Calvary where the healing balm is found, and trust the power that is able to heal and to save.

We pray to the Lord who is the true physician of soul and body, who does not turn away from the sick but draws near to heal. For your mother, who bears the burden of diabetes and now a fungal infection in her lungs, we ask for His mercy. May He guide the hands of those who treat her, give wisdom to follow the counsel given for her care, and grant her body strength to overcome this infection and be restored. For your father, we bring before God his eyesight and headaches, the trouble with his urinary tract, the swelling in his feet, and the burden of high blood pressure. We ask that these afflictions would be eased, that his health would be steadied, and that he would know daily grace and strength.
Do not grow weary in this season of watching and waiting. Love covers and perseveres, and it does not cease to care even when healing is slow. Continue to honor your parents through attentive care, through helping them keep faithfully to what their physicians prescribe, and through steady prayer. Even when we are dull or slow to hope, God remains faithful and near, and His power is made known when we feel most helpless.
