We join you in lifting up your mother and father before our Heavenly Father, for we know He cares deeply for them and for you who honors them in prayer.

We pray for your mother who is diabetic and suffering with a fungal infection in her lungs. We ask the Lord to touch her lungs and clear this infection completely, to strengthen her immune system, and to help her body respond well to treatment for her diabetes. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for peace and strength for her each day. We remember the promise that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He has said But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that Yahweh is the one who heals us as spoken in Exodus 15:26.

We also lift up your father and all the burdens upon his body. We pray for his eyesight to be restored and improved, for his headaches to cease, for his urinary tract problems to be healed, for the swelling in his feet to go down, and for his blood pressure to be stabilized and made normal. We pray for his overall health to be renewed and for strength to return to him. We pray as James encourages us, Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:14-15. We ask God to guide his medical care and to bring comfort and relief from pain.

We want to encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care for both of them while trusting the Lord as the ultimate healer, and to cast your anxieties on Him in prayer. We are reminded Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6, and Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness in Isaiah 41:10.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we pray with confidence.

We pray together now, Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we lift up this dear mother and father to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this mother, to cleanse her lungs from every fungal infection, to bring balance to her blood sugar, and to restore her health. Lord, we ask You to touch this father, to improve his eyesight, to take away his headaches, to heal his urinary tract, to remove the swelling from his feet, and to bring his blood pressure into a healthy range. Grant them both good health, renewed strength, and peaceful rest. Give wisdom to their physicians and comfort to their family as they wait on You. Let Your will be done in their lives and let Your name be glorified through their healing. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer and our hope, amen.

We are holding you and your parents before the Lord and we hear how much you are carrying right now.

Seeing your mother face a lung infection on top of diabetes, and your father dealing with so many different issues at once with his eyes, headaches, urinary tract, swelling and blood pressure, is a lot to hold as their child. It is understandable to feel stretched and worried when you love them and want them to be well.

Chronic health concerns can be slow and discouraging, for those who are ill and for those who love them. Progress often comes gradually, and it can be tiring to keep going to appointments and waiting for answers. Please continue to stay closely connected to their medical teams alongside prayer, and reach out to their doctors promptly with any changes or concerns. If it helps, keeping a simple notebook of symptoms, medications and questions for each visit can make those conversations clearer. And please do not carry this alone. Let a trusted family member, friend or pastor share the load with you so you have support as you support them.

Father, we lift this mother and father to You and ask for Your mercy and care over them. Give wisdom to their doctors, strength and peace to this family, and draw each of them close to You in this season. Provide what is needed for their health and daily needs and sustain them with Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have brought your burden for your parents before the Lord and have remembered them in prayer, asking the Great Physician to look upon them in mercy.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing. How much more should they urge us to seek the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom there is an abundance of healing power. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The Scripture says, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we gather from this that the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

For your mother who suffers with diabetes and with a fungal infection in the lungs, we have asked that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon her, that He who is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings would ease her breathing, stay the infection, and give wisdom to those who care for her. For your father, with failing eyesight and headache, with urinary tract trouble and swelling of the feet and affliction of blood pressure, we have prayed that the Lord would be pleased to relieve these many infirmities, to restore strength to his body, to clear his sight and give him rest from pain.

Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the work of Jesus our heavenly Physician is to apply the remedy. He took the hand of one who lay sick of a fever and lifted her up, and the fever left her. So still He is able to heal, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people. When He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. Therefore as we ask for bodily healing we also seek the deeper healing of the soul, which comes only through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for His salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

We encourage you to continue to use the means the Lord has provided, to seek faithful medical care for both your mother and father, while looking above all to Christ and trusting His wise and loving will, whether He is pleased to grant immediate relief or to sustain through trial. May the Lord give you peace as you wait upon Him, and may He show you that even the least touch of Christ brings life.

We will continue to pray that the Lord in His compassion would grant improvement and good health to your father and restoration to your mother, and that in all these afflictions you and your household may know the nearness of Him from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and grant you to see His goodness in the land of the living. Amen.

Your care for your mother and father has been heard, and it is good and pleasing to God that you honor them in this way and bring their needs before Him. The Lord gave the command to honor father and mother, and He sees the love that moves you to pray for them in their weakness.

We know that God is more loving than any parent, and His power is greater than any healing. He has shown His mercy through prophets and apostles and above all through His Son, who came when we were perishing to bring grace and restoration. While not every gift is given to all, and while healing rests in His sovereign will, we can come with confidence to ask for His mercy, trusting that He hears and that He will do what is best for those who love Him.

Let us pray together for them now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this mother and father before Your throne of grace. For this mother who suffers with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs, we ask for Your healing hand upon her. Ease her breathing, clear the infection, help her body to respond to treatment, and give wisdom to those who care for her. For this father, we ask You to touch his eyes and restore his sight where it can be restored, to relieve his headaches, to heal the problems in his urinary tract, to take away the swelling in his feet, and to bring his blood pressure into a healthy and stable measure. Grant to both of them strength, comfort, and good health according to Your will, and sustain them with Your peace.

We ask also that You give this family wisdom to follow good medical counsel, patience in waiting, and faith to trust You each day. Above all, draw each one closer to Christ, that in health or in sickness they may know Your presence and Your saving grace.

We entrust your mother and father to the Lord who loves them more deeply than we can, and we will continue to pray that He will grant them relief, strength, and renewed health. Keep seeking Him, keep honoring them with your care, and keep trusting His goodness.
