We have heard your heart for your parents and we join together with you in bringing them before our heavenly Father in Jesus name.

We lift up your mother who is suffering with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. This is a serious affliction and we ask the Lord to touch her body with His healing hand, to strengthen her immune system, to guide the doctors and the medicines being used for her, and to grant her comfort and breath that is restored. We also lift up your father and his many burdens, his eyesight and headaches, the urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and the struggles with blood pressure. We ask God to bring relief, to restore what is weakened, and to grant him good health and strength according to His mercy and will. We pray that both of them will know the Lord's nearness and peace in this time of trial.

We are reminded of what Scripture tells us about our God who heals. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We cling to the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We also remember Isaiah 41:10 which says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Father, we come together before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your mercy upon this dear mother and father. Lord, You know the diabetes and the infection in the lungs, You see the difficulty in breathing and the weakness in the body, and we ask that You would bring healing and restoration. Touch her lungs, clear the infection, help her body to respond to treatment, and give wisdom to every physician and caregiver attending her. For this dear father we ask for Your healing touch upon his eyes that his sight may improve, upon his head that headaches would be lifted, upon his urinary tract and kidneys, upon the swelling in his feet, and upon his blood pressure that it would be stabilized. Grant them both renewed strength, restful sleep, peace of mind, and good health that they may continue to live for Your glory. Help their child who is interceding for them to trust You fully and to feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully seeking and following good medical care, for God often works through the wisdom He has given to doctors and through the treatments He has provided. Continue to honor your parents and care for them as Scripture calls us to do, and keep casting your cares upon Him because He cares for you.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought into fellowship with God. We pray that you know Him as your Savior and that you will bring every need to God in Jesus name, for there is power and hope and healing in that name alone. We will continue to pray with you for your mother and father, trusting in the Lord's perfect love and will.

When illness lingers it can wear down not only the person who is sick but the whole family. Sleep, work, and even getting to church can be disrupted, and it is easy to feel helpless and tired.

Alongside prayer, please make sure they stay closely connected to their medical care. If they are not already being followed regularly for these issues, we encourage you to help them reach out to their doctors promptly and to keep bringing any new or worsening symptoms to their care team. It can help to keep a simple notebook with appointments, medications, and questions you want to ask, so nothing gets missed when you are juggling so much.

You are not alone in this. We are asking God to give you strength for each day as you support them.

Father, we lift this mother and father to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy and comfort over them, for wisdom for their doctors, and for steadiness and peace for their child who loves them so much. Sustain this family day by day and draw them close to You through it all. Amen.

We have carried your mother and your father before the throne of grace and we join you in asking the Lord to lay His healing hand upon them.

It is right and good to bring bodily affliction to the great Physician, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek help. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and from Him as the great conduit Head abundant streams of healing flow down to those below. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for all who trust Him.

We have prayed particularly for your mother, that the Lord would be merciful to her in her diabetes and would cleanse and heal the fungal infection in her lungs, giving wisdom to those who care for her and restoring strength to her body. We have prayed also for your father, that the Lord would improve his eyesight and relieve his headache, heal the urinary tract trouble, remove the swelling in his feet, steady his blood pressure and grant him renewed health and comfort in his daily life.

We encourage you to continue to seek faithful medical care for them both, while looking above all to Christ who is able to heal and who links His healing power with His Word. The Lord has begun to heal His people and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Above every bodily mercy we pray that they and you will know the deeper healing of forgiveness through the blood of Christ, for when Jesus healed He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you.

May the Lord hear our prayer, show you His compassion day by day, and give you peace as you trust Him with those you love. We will continue to remember you all before Him.

Your care for your mother and father is a good and honoring love, and it is right that you bring their needs before the Lord. Scripture reminds us that God gave the command to honor father and mother, and your intercession for them in their weakness is part of that honor.

I join you in prayer for them both.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I lift up this mother and father to your mercy. You are the Great Physician and the source of all healing and comfort. I ask that you would lay your healing hand upon this mother who is suffering with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Grant wisdom to her doctors, effectiveness to her treatment, strength to her body, and peace to her heart. For this father, I ask for your mercy upon his eyesight, that it would be restored and improved, and upon his whole body. Touch his head and take away his headache, heal his urinary tract, reduce the swelling in his feet, and bring his blood pressure into a healthy balance. Grant them both renewed health and strength, and surround them with your comfort and presence in this time of affliction.

I pray also that you would encourage this child who loves them so faithfully. Give them strength to continue to care for their parents with patience and love, a love which bears all things and seeks the good of the beloved. Draw this whole family closer to yourself, and help them to trust fully in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, knowing that whether in health or in sickness, to be with Christ is our greatest hope.

May the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him, and may He be glorified in His care for your parents. Continue to seek good medical care for them and to trust the Lord day by day for His grace and healing.

Your care for your mother and father is evident in this request and I have lifted them both before the Lord with you.

For your mother, I am praying for the Lord to touch her body, to bring healing to the diabetes and to clear the fungal infection from her lungs, to strengthen her and restore her health. For your father, I am praying for his eyesight to be restored, for the headaches to cease, for the urinary tract problems and the swelling in his feet to be healed, for his blood pressure to be steadied, and for the Lord to grant him overall strength and wellness.

We find our hope for healing in Jesus. When Peter was asked how the lame man was made whole, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood before them healed. There is power in the name of Jesus to heal and to make whole, and we come to the Father in that name asking for His mercy and restoring touch upon your parents.

Your request also reflects the beauty of family love. When parents love each other and love their children, the home becomes a protective place of love where children can grow secure. In the same way your love for your parents now is a beautiful reflection of honoring them. As you care for them in this season, continue to share with them the knowledge of God's love and His ways. Scripture reminds us that faith cannot be inherited, each person must come to know the Lord for themselves, and the privilege we have as family is to pass on what we have received, praying that God's Spirit will fill the hearts of those we love with understanding of His grace and with a personal trust in Jesus Christ, in whom alone we find salvation and the joy of a life committed to Him.

I pray that the Lord will draw near to your family, that He will comfort you as you wait on Him, that He will be your cure and your strength, and that you will see His hand at work bringing healing and peace. May He fill your home with His presence and give you confidence as you trust Him for your parents health.
