We join you in lifting up your precious mother and father before our Heavenly Father, for we know how heavy it is to watch those we love suffer with ongoing health struggles and we bring them before the throne of grace together.
We are reminded that our God is the Lord who heals us. Psalm 103:2-3 tells us to praise Yahweh, who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17 declares I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We serve a compassionate God who cares about every detail of our bodies, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and He desires for us to prosper in health even as our soul prospers as written in 3 John 1:2.
We pray together for your mother. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear mother who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. We ask for Your healing hand upon her. Lord, regulate her blood sugar, strengthen her immune system, and clear this infection from her lungs completely. Grant wisdom to her doctors and effectiveness to every treatment, and let her breathing be restored and her body strengthened. We pray for Your peace to guard her heart and for Your presence to comfort her in weakness.
We also lift up your father to You, Lord. We bring before You his eyesight, his headaches, his urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and his blood pressure. Father, You see each of these afflictions and none is hidden from You. We ask that You would improve his vision, relieve his headaches, heal his urinary system, reduce the swelling in his feet, and bring his blood pressure into a healthy and stable range. We pray for complete restoration of his health, for renewed strength, and for relief from pain and discomfort. We ask that You would guide his physicians, give them discernment, and bless the medicines and care he receives. May Your healing virtue flow through his body according to Your will.
We want to gently share with you that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and to confess Him with your mouth as taught in Romans 10:9, for then you will be saved and have confident access to God in prayer. It is in His precious and powerful name that we pray and find hope for healing both for the body and for the soul.
We encourage you to continue to seek diligent medical care for both of your parents while trusting the Lord, for He often works through the wisdom He has given to doctors and medicine. Continue to care for them with love, encourage them in healthy stewardship of their bodies, and cast all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We also pray for you as you carry this burden, that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:7.

Your burden for your dear parents has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for them.
We have carried to the throne of grace your mother in her affliction, suffering as she does with diabetes and with a fungal infection in the lungs. What a mercy that we may come to Him who is the great Physician, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and we pray that He would be pleased in His compassion to touch her body, to give skill to those who care for her, to stay the infection, to regulate her disorder and to grant her breath more free and strength renewed.
We have also remembered your father and all the infirmities you have named, his eyesight that has grown dim, the headaches that trouble him, the urinary afflictions, the swelling of his feet and the distress of blood pressure. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, and how much more should we seek the Lord who healeth all our diseases. We ask the Sun of Righteousness to rise upon him with healing in His wings, to ease his pain, to restore what can be restored, to steady his body and to grant him good health according to His wise and gracious will. As it was with Peter's wife's mother, who lay sick of a fever till Jesus came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, so we pray the Lord would draw near to your father, lay His hand upon him and lift him up again.
We are reminded that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. Therefore while we pray earnestly for the healing of the body, we pray above all for the healing of the soul which Christ alone can give, that both your mother and your father may know the forgiveness of sins through faith in His shed blood, and find that peace which sustains in sickness and in health. The healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till at last we shall be without spot or wrinkle, for His salvation will at the last perfectly heal our bodies.
Continue to wait upon the Lord with prayer and to use diligently the means He has provided through physicians and care, trusting not in means alone but in the Lord who blesses the means. May the Lord comfort your own heart as you watch and intercede for those you love, and may He give you to see His hand of mercy resting upon your home.
We commend them both to the tender care of our gracious God, praying that He would grant relief, restoration and abiding health as seemeth good in His sight, and that His name may be glorified in all His dealings with you.
