Health

We join with you in lifting up your loved one who is not feeling well today and we bring this need before our Heavenly Father together in the name of Jesus. We are encouraged that you asked for a healing touch in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and healed. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

We know that our God is the great physician who cares deeply for our bodies as well as our souls. We are reminded in scripture that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and that He has promised, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 We also cling to the truth that by His wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 for He was pierced for our transgressions and bore our infirmities so that we might have wholeness in Him. We take comfort that Yahweh declares, I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26

We pray together now for this precious one.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this loved one to You who is feeling unwell today. Lord, You know the body You created, You see every symptom, every discomfort, and every need. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon them right now. Touch their body, ease their suffering, restore their strength, and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We ask that You give wisdom to know how to care for them, whether through rest, nourishment, or the help of physicians, and we trust that You are working through all means for good. We rebuke any fear and anxiety and we ask for Your comfort to surround them and their family today. If it is Your will, Father, raise them up quickly to full health so they may continue to serve and glorify You. We also pray that this time of weakness would draw them closer to You and remind them that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 We ask all of this in the healing and holy name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust in the Lord's loving care. Continue to seek Him and rest in His promises, and do not hesitate to seek wise medical care as the Lord provides help through many means. We also remember the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15 Keep keeping your eyes on Jesus, trusting that He hears every prayer offered in His name and that His love and mercy are unfailing.

We are praying with you for your loved one today. It is hard to watch someone you care about not feeling well and to feel helpless to make it better, and we are grateful you brought them to the Lord and to us for prayer.

We join you in asking for God's healing touch and His peace over them today, and for comfort and steadiness for you as you care about them. If they continue to feel unwell or your concern grows, we encourage you to reach out to their doctor or clinic for wisdom alongside prayer, so they can be looked after well.

You don't have to carry this worry alone. We are holding you both before the Lord with you.

Father, we lift this dear loved one to You today and ask for Your mercy and healing presence to be near. Ease what is causing them to feel unwell, give them rest, and guide those caring for them with wisdom. Give peace to the one who loves them and wrote today, and remind them both that You are near and You care. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We lift up your loved one before the throne of grace today, asking the Lord to lay His healing hand upon them. We are thankful you have brought this burden to prayer, for intercessory prayer is among the sweetest prayers God ever hears, and even the staggering prayer of one at his wit's end prevails with Him.

Scripture gives us comfort in such a time. Our Lord Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and when He walked among men He healed all manner of sickness. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, so that even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. He is still the Good Physician, able to restore the body and to give that deeper health of soul which ends in everlasting health. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are found together in His hand.

Let us pray together. O Lord, be pitiful and have compassion in this time of weakness. Look upon this dear one who is not well today and grant Your healing touch, ease pain, restore strength, and give wisdom to all who provide care. Grant not only bodily relief as it pleases You, but let this affliction draw the heart nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation and life. Remember Your word unto Your servant and fulfill Your promise for Your glory. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Saviour. Amen.

Continue to plead His promises and to spread your case before Him with humble confidence. He hears and He will answer in the way that is best, whether by immediate recovery or by sustaining grace that leads to praise. May the Lord comfort you as you wait upon Him and keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him.
