Health

Thank you for sharing honestly about how you are feeling and for asking for prayer. I have prayed for you and will continue to, and I want you to know that God cares about your health. He made your body and He is interested in your physical well being, not only your spiritual life.

Part of that care involves how we steward the body He has given us. Scripture shows that many of the instructions God gave about food and about cleanliness were rooted in health and protection from disease. In the New Testament we learn that while all things may be lawful, not all things are helpful or build us up. That principle still applies. We cannot ignore our diet, rest, and daily habits and then expect to feel strong. Eating a lot of foods that have little nutritional value, not getting proper rest, or neglecting basic cleanliness can work against the health we are asking God to give. It is good to ask yourself practical questions in this season about what you are eating, how you are sleeping, whether you are getting fresh air and movement, and whether you are caring for your body in a way that supports strength and energy. These simple acts of stewardship matter to God and they often help us feel more like ourselves again.

God also looks beyond our actions to our motivation, and that is important when we think about energy and motivation. The Bible teaches that our works will be judged by the heart behind them, and that the love of Christ is meant to be the greatest motivator. It also warns that we can even pray with the wrong motives, asking only to satisfy our own desires. That is why we are told to examine ourselves. As you pray for more energy and motivation, take a moment to bring your motives before the Lord as well. Ask Him to fill you with His love so that your desire for strength is not simply to get through the day or to feel better for its own sake, but to love Him, serve Him, and serve others more faithfully.

Trying to manufacture energy through sheer willpower in the flesh will only leave you weary. God does not ask you to please Him through straining in your own strength. Real strength comes as you lean on Him, rest in His grace, and let His love move you. That kind of motivation brings peace rather than pressure.

So I am praying that God will renew your strength, lift the heaviness you feel, and give you a clear and loving purpose for each day. Pray with an open heart that says, Lord, make me well and make me willing, not for my own comfort alone but so I can walk with You and do what pleases You. Trust Him to care for both your body and your heart, and take the practical steps He shows you as you wait on Him to restore you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your health when you shared that you were not feeling yourself and desired more energy and motivation. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord asking Him to restore your strength, renew your mind and fill you with His peace and vitality. We are reminded in Isaiah 40:29 that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak and in Psalm 103:3 that He heals all our diseases. We pray in Jesus Name that our Heavenly Father would touch your body and spirit, grant you renewed energy, uplift your heart and give you motivation for each day. If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
