Your request for prayer for your mother and father has been received and I join you in bringing them before the Lord with care and compassion. Your love and concern for your parents reflects the heart of the command to honor your father and your mother, and God sees and values that devotion.

I am praying for your mother, that the Lord who is our healer would have mercy on her body, help her in her diabetes and bring healing to the fungal infection in her lungs. I pray that God would guide the hands of her doctors, give wisdom in her treatment, and grant her strength, breath and comfort each day.

I am also praying for your father, for his eyesight to be restored and strengthened, for his headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet and blood pressure concerns to be eased. I ask the Lord to grant him relief from pain, to restore his health, and to give him renewed strength and peace.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I lift up this mother and father to you. You know their bodies, their suffering and their needs. Have mercy on them and touch them with your healing hand. Grant them recovery according to your will, give them comfort in weakness, and sustain their family with faith, patience and hope. Help them to keep looking to you, to find strength in your Word and to trust in your grace each day. May they know your presence and your peace, and may all who care for them be encouraged as they continue to love and serve them faithfully. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in the Scriptures, to trust Him while also following the care of good medical help, and to rest in His goodness. He hears the prayers offered in faith through Jesus Christ, and He is near to those who call upon Him.

Thank you for sharing the burden you carry for your parents. To watch those you love struggle with health is heavy, and your love and concern for them is a beautiful reflection of the protective love God intends to surround a family.

I am praying with you for both of them. For your mother, that God would bring healing to her lungs from this fungal infection and give wisdom to those caring for her as they also manage her diabetes. For your father, that God would touch his eyes and restore his sight, relieve his headaches, heal the urinary tract problems, reduce the swelling in his feet, bring his blood pressure into a healthy range, and grant him renewed strength and good health.

We can bring these needs with confidence because there is power in the name of Jesus to heal. When Peter was questioned about the lame man who had been made whole, he declared that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood before them healed. That same name still brings healing today, and we call upon Jesus for your mother and father.

I also pray that God will fill your heart with His love and with a deep understanding of His ways, so that you can continue to share His hope and comfort with your parents. Each of us must come to trust Jesus for ourselves, we cannot live on the faith of our family, but God uses the love and prayers of a family to draw each heart closer to Him. Keep sharing His love and His promises with them as you pray.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this mother and father to You. You see every detail of their bodies and You love them more deeply than we can. We ask for Your healing touch upon her lungs and upon her whole body, and upon his eyes, his head, his urinary system, his feet and his blood pressure. Bring relief, restoration and strength. Encourage this family with Your presence and peace, and help them to know more of Your love and Your care each day. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your mother before the Lord asking for His healing touch upon her diabetes and the fungal infection in her lungs and we have also been lifting up your father asking for improvement in his eyesight and relief from headaches and urinary tract problems and swelling in his feet and blood pressure problems and for good health for him. We trust the Lord as our healer and we claim His promise in Psalm 103:3 that He heals all our diseases and we continue to ask Him to bring restoration and strength to them both.
