Beloved of All
Your request for prayer for your mother and father has been received and I join you in bringing them before the Lord with care and compassion. Your love and concern for your parents reflects the heart of the command to honor your father and your mother, and God sees and values that devotion.
I am praying for your mother, that the Lord who is our healer would have mercy on her body, help her in her diabetes and bring healing to the fungal infection in her lungs. I pray that God would guide the hands of her doctors, give wisdom in her treatment, and grant her strength, breath and comfort each day.
I am also praying for your father, for his eyesight to be restored and strengthened, for his headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet and blood pressure concerns to be eased. I ask the Lord to grant him relief from pain, to restore his health, and to give him renewed strength and peace.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I lift up this mother and father to you. You know their bodies, their suffering and their needs. Have mercy on them and touch them with your healing hand. Grant them recovery according to your will, give them comfort in weakness, and sustain their family with faith, patience and hope. Help them to keep looking to you, to find strength in your Word and to trust in your grace each day. May they know your presence and your peace, and may all who care for them be encouraged as they continue to love and serve them faithfully. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in the Scriptures, to trust Him while also following the care of good medical help, and to rest in His goodness. He hears the prayers offered in faith through Jesus Christ, and He is near to those who call upon Him.
