Beloved of All
We have been praying for you and for your parents as you shared these heavy burdens.
Your love and concern for them reflects the heart God has for the family, that it would be a place of protective and faithful love where each person is surrounded and cared for. It is a beautiful thing to see a son or daughter standing in the gap for a mother and father in this way.
We are asking the Lord to touch your mother. We pray for healing from the fungal infection in her lungs and for wisdom for her doctors as they treat her diabetes and help her body to be strengthened and restored.
We are also lifting up your father and each need you mentioned, his eyesight and headaches, the urinary tract problems, the swelling in his feet, and the blood pressure concerns. We ask God to bring relief, to restore health, and to give him comfort and strength each day.
We pray for all of this in the name of Jesus, because there is power in that name to heal. When Peter was asked how the lame man had been made whole, he answered that it was by the name of Jesus that the man stood before them healed. We still look to that same name today, trusting that Jesus is able to heal and to help.
We also pray that in this season of need your parents and your whole family would know more deeply the love of God and His ways. Scripture reminds us that faith is personal, that each one of us must know the Lord for ourselves and cannot live on the faith of another. So we ask that God by His Spirit would fill each heart in your family with a clear knowledge of His love and draw each of you into a living commitment to Jesus Christ, where true joy and blessing are found.
Apart from the Lord there is no other cure and no other remedy for our deepest needs, whether of body or soul. We have no help but Him, and we look to Him with confidence.
May the Lord be near to your mother and father, grant them healing according to His will, give you peace as you trust Him, and surround your home with His care. We continue to hold you all before Him in prayer.
