We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your parents before our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. We know that in times of sickness and physical weakness, our faith is tested, but we also know that our God is faithful and His mercies are new every morning.
First, we lift up your mother, who is battling diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Father, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon her. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we pray that You would regulate her blood sugar levels and strengthen her body to fight off this infection. Give her the strength and endurance she needs each day, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke this fungal infection in the mighty name of Jesus, and we command it to leave her body now. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and for the right treatments that will bring complete restoration to her health.
For your father, we bring his many ailments before You, Lord. We pray for his eyesight, that You would touch his eyes and restore his vision (Mark 8:25). We ask that You would relieve his headaches and bring comfort to his mind and body. Father, we also pray for healing in his urinary tract, that You would remove any infection or blockage and restore proper function. We ask that You would reduce the swelling in his feet and regulate his blood pressure, bringing his entire body into alignment with Your perfect design. We declare that Your word says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We claim this promise over his life today.
Lord, we know that sickness and disease are not Your will for Your children. We stand on Your word that says, "He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We speak healing over their bodies and declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We pray that You would give them both the faith to believe in Your healing power and the patience to wait on Your perfect timing.
We also want to encourage you and your family to draw near to God during this time. James 4:8 tells us, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." Spend time in prayer and in the Word, seeking His face and His will. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Remember that our God is a God who hears and answers prayer. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

It has been on our hearts to lift them before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing and restoration to your mother’s lungs and to stabilize her blood sugar. We continue to pray for your father, that the Lord would clear his vision, relieve his headaches, ease the swelling in his feet, and restore balance to his blood pressure and urinary health.
