We join with you in lifting up your precious mother and father before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to touch their bodies and bring healing according to His will in Jesus' name.

We are moved by your love and concern for your parents and we know that God cares deeply for them as well. He is the Lord who heals us and who sustains us in every affliction. We remember the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Exodus 15:26 where the Lord declares, I am Yahweh who heals you. Our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and God is able to restore what is broken, and He also works through the wisdom He gives to doctors and medicine.

We pray together for your mother. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear mother who is suffering with diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. You know every cell in her body and You see her struggle to breathe and to find strength. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would bring healing to her lungs, clear this infection completely, and restore her breathing. We pray that You would help regulate her blood sugar and give her body balance and strength. Grant wisdom to her physicians and effectiveness to every treatment, and let her feel Your comforting presence and peace. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon her, for You are merciful and mighty to save.

We also lift up your father to the Lord. Father, we bring this dear father before You who is dealing with poor eyesight, headaches, urinary tract problems, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure difficulties. You know the burden these many ailments place on him. We pray that You would touch his eyes and restore his sight, ease the pain of his headaches, heal his urinary tract, reduce the swelling in his feet, and bring his blood pressure into a healthy and stable range. We ask for complete renewal of his health and for strength in his body. We pray as in James 5:15, The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We ask that You would comfort him, relieve his discomfort, and let him experience Your goodness and restoration day by day.

We also want to gently share something important with you because we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We come to God the Father only through His Son, and it is in the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard and our sins are forgiven. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are reconciled to God as Romans 10:9 teaches, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus, both for your own salvation and as you intercede for your parents, for there is no greater hope or healer than He.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also faithfully continuing all medical care for your parents, for God often brings healing through the hands of skilled caregivers. Cast your cares upon Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, and do not be anxious but bring your requests to God with thanksgiving as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to grant your mother and father renewed health, comfort, and many more days to glorify Him together with you, all according to His perfect will in Jesus' name, amen.

Watching a mother struggle with diabetes and a lung infection and a father dealing with so many different symptoms can leave you feeling stretched and helpless, and it makes sense that you would bring them here for prayer.

Caring for loved ones with ongoing health needs affects the whole family. Sleep gets interrupted, schedules change, and it is easy to feel worn down while you try to stay strong for them. Please know you do not have to carry this alone.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to stay in close touch with their medical providers and to bring any new or worsening concerns to them promptly, so they can get the right care. It can help to keep a simple list of questions, medicines and changes you notice to share at appointments, and to let a trusted family member, friend or pastor walk with you so you have support too.

Father, we lift this mother and father to You. You see their bodies, their discomfort and their needs. We ask for Your mercy and presence with them, for wisdom for their doctors, and for strength and peace for this family as they wait on You. Guide each next step and keep them in Your care. We have heard your burden for your beloved parents and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace where healing flows from our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. What comfort this is when affliction lies heavy upon the body. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician, yet above all earthly physicians there is the heavenly Physician who touches both body and soul.

We bring your mother before Him now, asking that He would look with mercy upon her as she bears diabetes and this fungal infection in the lungs. May the Lord guide the hands of those who care for her, give wisdom in her treatment, and if it be His gracious will, breathe healing into her lungs and strength into her frame. We pray also for your father, for his eyesight, for relief from headache, for healing of his urinary tract, for the swelling in his feet to subside, and for his blood pressure to be steadied. We ask the Lord to grant him good health and to sustain him day by day.

Scripture places healing and pardon in happy conjunction, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. So we pray not only for the healing of the body which is for a season, but for the deeper healing of the soul which endures forever. May both your mother and father know the Sun of Righteousness risen upon them with healing in His wings, and may they feel His hand lifting them up as He lifted Peter's wife's mother from her fever, so that being healed they may rise and serve Him.

Continue to wait upon the Lord in prayer and in the use of the means He has provided through skillful care, trusting that His salvation will perfectly heal in His own time and way, whether in this life or in the life to come where every infirmity shall be removed. May the Lord give you peace as you watch and pray, and may He let you see His goodness in the land of the living.

We commend you and your parents to Him who is able to heal and willing to save. May He answer according to His perfect wisdom and abundant mercy. Amen.

We have received your request and we are joining you in prayer for your mother and father before our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the true physician of soul and body.

We pray for your mother, that God would have mercy on her in her diabetes and in the fungal infection in her lungs. We ask Him to give wisdom to her doctors, to guide her treatment, to strengthen her body, and to grant her relief and healing according to His good will. We pray also for comfort and peace for her and for you as you care for her.

We pray for your father, for his eyesight, for the headaches, for the urinary tract problems, for the swelling in his feet, and for his blood pressure. We ask the Lord to ease these burdens, to restore what can be restored, to sustain his health, and to give him strength day by day. We ask God to lift these afflictions and to grant him good health and steadiness in body.

Christ said, take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Even when sickness weighs heavily, His yoke remains easy because He carries us. The apostles themselves knew sickness and weakness, and yet they learned that suffering in this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed, and that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.

Bring your parents continually to Him in prayer, trust His care, and continue to follow the guidance of their physicians. God often works through the skill He has given to doctors, and He also hears the prayers of His people with compassion. May He grant you all patience, hope, and rest in His mercy.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will touch your mother and father with His healing hand, relieve their pain, and keep them in His peace.

Thank you for sharing the burden you carry for your parents and for allowing us to pray with you for them.

We are lifting up your mother before the Lord, asking Him to touch her body, to bring healing to her lungs from this fungal infection and to give wisdom to those caring for her as they also manage her diabetes. We are also lifting up your father, asking God to have mercy on his eyesight, to relieve his headaches, to heal the urinary tract issues and the swelling in his feet, to bring his blood pressure into balance and to restore him to good health.

We pray with confidence because there is power in the name of Jesus to heal. When Peter was asked how the lame man had been made whole, he answered plainly that it was through the name of Jesus that the man stood before them healed. That same Jesus is our hope today, and we ask Him to lay His healing hand upon both your mother and your father.

We also know that the Lord is the only true cure for the deepest needs of our lives, and there is no other remedy apart from Him. As we ask for physical healing, we also pray for their spiritual strength and peace, that God by His Spirit would fill their hearts with a clear knowledge of His love and His ways. Scripture reminds us that faith cannot be inherited, each person must come to know the Lord personally. Parents are called to pass on the understanding of God to their children, and children who have come to know the joy and blessing of a committed life with Christ can in turn share that same love back with their parents. Your faithful love and prayer for them is a beautiful reflection of the protective love God intends for a family, where love is given and returned and all are surrounded by care.

So we pray not only for relief from these symptoms, but that both your mother and father would know the nearness of Jesus in this difficult season, that they would feel His comfort, and that your whole family would be strengthened in faith and in love for one another.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this mother and father before You. Touch the lungs and bring cleansing and healing, regulate blood sugar, restore eyesight, ease pain in the head, heal the urinary tract, reduce swelling, steady blood pressure, and restore health. Let Your healing power be seen and let Your peace guard their hearts. Draw each one closer to Yourself, that they may know You personally and walk in the joy of life with You. Amen.
