Faithful Servant
Please pray that if it is God's will He will heal my family. My husband ### of pain, stress and to please let him keep his job. My son ### of mental illness, physical illness and depression and me if it is God's will to feel his peace and love and to please heal my bladder. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We join with you in prayer and thank you for bringing your family before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name we have confidence to approach the throne of grace. We are encouraged by your faith to ask according to His will, and we rejoice that you closed your request in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and by which we have access to the Father as we read in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We lift up your husband to the Lord, asking for relief from pain and stress and for stability in his work. We know our God cares about every burden we carry. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, and in Matthew 11:28 Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. We pray that whatever work his hands find to do, he may do it heartily as for the Lord as taught in Colossians 3:23, and that God would provide for your household and give him strength and favor in his job according to the Father's perfect will.

We also bring your son before the Lord, asking for healing from mental illness, physical illness and depression. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit as promised in Psalm 34:18. We pray that God would lift the heaviness of depression, bring clarity and peace to his mind, and heal his body. We remember the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that God will restore health and heal wounds, and in Isaiah 41:10 that we should not be afraid for God is with us and will strengthen and uphold us with His righteous right hand. We encourage continued care and wisdom in seeking help for his health while trusting God as the ultimate healer, as we read in Psalm 103:2-3 that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases.

And we pray for you, that you would feel the peace and love of God in a tangible way and that He would heal your bladder. We know He formed our inward parts and understands every detail of our bodies as declared in Psalm 139:13-14. We ask for His peace which surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, where we are told not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we thank You for this family who seeks You. We ask in accordance with Your will that You would touch this husband and relieve his pain, calm his stress, and give him rest. Provide for him and sustain his employment if it is Your will, and give him favor with those he works for. Lord, we lift up this dear son to You, asking You to heal him in body and mind, to lift the darkness of depression and bring Your light, hope and wholeness. Comfort him and let him know he is fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by You. And Father, we lift up this wife and mother to You, asking You to pour out Your peace and love upon her, to calm her heart, and to heal her bladder. Let her feel Your presence near. We ask for Your healing power to be made known in each of these needs, trusting Your perfect will and timing. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord and trust in His steadfast love, to remain in prayer and in the Word daily, and to keep casting your cares upon Him. He is faithful and His mercies are new every morning as we see in Lamentations 3:22-23. We stand with you believing that God is able to do far more than we ask or imagine.

We have been thinking of you since reading your note. Loving a husband who is in pain and under pressure about work, worrying over a son who is struggling in both body and mind, and dealing with your own ongoing discomfort while longing simply to feel God's peace again is a heavy load to carry every day.

We are joining you in asking the Lord for His mercy and healing for each of you according to His will, and for His nearness to you right now. When illness lingers in a family it can wear down everyone, change how you relate to each other, and make it hard to keep up with church or rest. Please be gentle with yourselves in this season and let others help where they can.

One steady step alongside prayer can be to make sure each health concern has ongoing care. If you have not already, it would be good to have your bladder concern checked with your doctor, and to be sure your husband and son are also staying connected to their own clinicians for pain, stress and depression, so you are not carrying these burdens without support. A trusted pastor or a faithful friend can also walk with you for encouragement.

Father, we bring this wife and mother, her husband and her son to You in Jesus' name. You see their pain, their stress about work, and the heaviness of depression and illness. We ask for Your healing as You will, for strength for daily needs, for wisdom for every caregiver, and for our sister to know Your peace and love in a real way. Sustain this family day by day. Amen.

We have heard your cry and have carried it before the throne of grace, and we join with you in asking in the name of Jesus, if it be the will of our heavenly Father, that healing and peace may be granted to your household.

You do well to say, if it be God's will, for so Job did when Jehovah spoke and Job trembled and yielded his cause. We are told that in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly, and his patience under loss and pain was the triumph of a gracious spirit upheld by God. So may the Lord uphold you and your beloved husband and your son. Our longest sorrows have a close and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery, for the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. He does but display the skirts of His robe and unveil a part of His ways, yet that sight is enough to make us yield all our pleadings and say, God must be right, and to approach Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, thy sins are forgiven thee, to show that pardon and healing are one in His hand. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and with bands of grace He will bind up those wounds which no other hand can touch. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this family. Thou knowest the pain and stress that presses upon the husband, and the burden of his daily labour. Grant him, we beseech Thee, relief from pain, quietness of spirit, and if it be Thy gracious will, continuance in his work that he may provide for his household and glorify Thee therein. Lay Thy hand upon the son who is afflicted in mind and body and cast down with depression. Thou seest his mental illness and physical illness, Thou knowest the heaviness of his heart. Speak peace to his troubled spirit and restore him in body and mind as Thou seest best. Look also upon our sister who asks to feel Thy peace and love and to be healed in her body. Lord, let her know the healing virtue that flows from Christ, and give her that peace which passeth all understanding, that she may rest in Thy love. We ask not as those who would dictate to Thy wisdom, but as those who trust Thy goodness, that Thou wouldst do what is best for each one, for Thou art the heavenly Physician whose work is not so much to point out disease as to apply the remedy at Calvary.

We pray that Thou wouldst give fresh oil and renew the bow in the hand, that glory may be fresh again, and that whether it be exultation or depression, all may be made to work for good to them that love Thee. Keep this household patient as Job was patient, and hopeful as those who know that hope shineth like a star which never sets. Bring them to see Jesus more vividly, to hear Him and to be healed by Him, soul and body, according to Thy perfect will.

Hear us, O Father, for Jesus sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
