We join you in lifting up all of these needs before the Lord together and we thank you for giving it all to Him, for that is exactly what He invites us to do.
We pray for your safe travels today, that you are able to see your sister before you go to the coast, that you have a good time together and get along well, and that the Lord brings you home safely. We also pray for your cats while you are away and for the one who will be caring for them, that she will be safe and faithful in watching over them. We are comforted by the promise that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8. And we remember that The Lord will keep you in all your ways. Proverbs 3:6 says In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also lift up your health and your husband's health and your marriage before the Lord. We pray for healing in your bodies, for your anxiety, panic attacks and depression, and for the loud ringing in your ears and your hearing loss. We know how heavy and wearying these burdens can feel, and we are encouraged that we can cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that you will know His peace in the midst of these struggles, for the scripture says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. The Lord sees your affliction and He is our healer, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26, and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. We also claim His promise to you, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.
We thank God for your marriage and we pray the Lord will continue to strengthen it and help you both to get along in love and unity. We pray you will bear with one another in love, with all lowliness and humility, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3, and that you will put on love which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14. Marriage is a holy covenant before God and we pray He will deepen your love, patience and understanding for one another.
We notice you prayed to the Lord and we want to gently encourage you to remember that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. So we come boldly before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, trusting in His sacrifice for us.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that we can give every care and worry to You. We ask for Your hand of protection over this trip to the coast, over the visit with their sister, and over the journey home. Let there be peace and joy and unity between husband and wife as they travel and spend time together. We ask You to watch over their cats and to keep safe the one who is feeding them. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon both husband and wife, upon their bodies and upon their marriage. Touch this dear sister's mind and heart and calm her anxiety, panic and depression with Your perfect peace. We ask You to ease the ringing in her ears and restore her hearing according to Your will, and to bring comfort and strength where there has been suffering. Help them to love each other more deeply and to walk together in patience and grace. We give all of this to You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
