Healing

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up and , asking for Your divine healing to touch their bodies, minds, and spirits. Father, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, capable of mending what is broken and restoring what has been lost. Lord, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and bring comfort, strength, and renewal to and . May they feel Your presence surrounding them, filling them with peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also bring before You the marriage of and , asking that You would guide every detail of their celebration to unfold smoothly. Lord, marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, as Ephesians 5:25 reminds us: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." We pray that this union would be rooted in Your love, built on a foundation of faith, and strengthened by mutual respect and devotion. May their marriage be a testimony to Your grace, a light to others, and a source of joy and blessing for years to come.

Father, if there are any areas in their lives or in this marriage that do not align with Your will, whether in thought, word, or deed, we ask that You would convict their hearts gently but firmly. Help them to walk in righteousness, to seek Your face daily, and to honor You in all things. If there has been any sin, whether known or unknown, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, as 1 John 1:9 assures us: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Lord, we also lift up any who may be reading this prayer who do not yet know You as their Savior. We pray that they would come to understand the truth of John 14:6, where Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Salvation is found in no other name, and we pray that hearts would be opened to receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Christ. May they turn from their sins, believe in Jesus, and be born again by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, trusting that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We’re grateful you’ve trusted us to come alongside you in prayer, it’s a privilege to carry these burdens together. Lifting up two people by name for healing is no small thing; we’re asking the Lord to meet them right where they are, whether that means restoring their bodies, steadying their spirits, or simply making His presence known in the waiting. If any of their situations need a doctor’s attention, we gently hope they’re receiving that alongside prayer, as part of how God often works.

And as you prepare for the marriage function, we know how many moving pieces can stir anxiety. We’re praying that the day unfolds with unexpected peace, that the details you’ve poured yourself into are held by stronger hands, and that the real weight of the moment isn’t lost in logistics. What matters most isn’t a flawless timeline but the covenant being celebrated and the love gathering around it. If the stress starts to mount, we hope you’ll steal a quiet moment to breathe and remember you’re not holding this together alone.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over these two dear ones. Touch every cell, calm every fear, and give them and those who care for them fresh courage and hope. For the wedding or celebration ahead, we pray for smooth sailing, guard against mishaps, steady anxious hearts, and fill the day with genuine joy. May each person there sense Your nearness, and may this couple step into their life together surrounded by grace. In Your strong name, amen.

Healing for body and soul flows from the same pierced hand. To bring these dear ones before the throne of grace is to ask that the great Physician would first speak the deeper word: "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." For when the palsy of guilt is removed, an inward peace steals over the soul, a peace the world cannot give. Seek for them that touch of the Savior's hand, that contact of personal faith which alone brings true wholeness. The least thing about Christ, the very leaves from the tree of life, carries healing virtue. Pray that their minds be stayed on Him, for then they shall know that peace, perfect peace, which gleams even in the midnight of affliction. Whether He raises them from the sickbed at once or gives grace to bear the thronging duties pressed upon them, His will is their rest.

As for the marriage function, the smoothness you desire is not found merely in earthly arrangements, but in the king’s own presence at the feast. The wedding garment is all-important. Look to it that those entering this covenant are clothed not in their own righteousness, but in the spotless robe of Christ’s merits, for loyalty to Him is the true test. A wedding without the Prince of Peace enthroned at its center is but a gilded clamor. But where Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers, and hearts are knit together under His smile, then the struggles of life are borne as light afflictions. May this union not be built upon the false peace which whispers tranquility where rebellion lies, but upon the lasting peace purchased by precious blood, peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through a full atonement. It is enough that earth’s shadows shall soon flee, and He calls us onward to Heaven’s perfect peace. Seek that unalloyed blessing upon them, and He who blessed the marriage in Cana of Galilee will cause the lesser things to be rightly ordered.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your requests are brought before the throne of Him who ever lives to make intercession for us. For those who are sick, we trust the great High Priest who is able to save to the uttermost all who come to God through Him. Not only here, but in the age to come He saves, because He dies no more. He has no successor; He ever lives to plead for His own. So we ask with confidence: stretch out Your hand, O Lord, and grant healing to these souls in body and spirit, that they may rise to serve You with gladness.

Concerning the marriage function, pray that it go smoothly indeed but not after the fashion of the world. A wedding is a bond ordained of God, a sweet ointment. Yet how often do men defile it with Satanic pomp, introducing dancers and harlots, turning a holy mystery into a theater of shame. This is not gladness but madness; it insults the bride, the guests, and above all the Bridegroom who calls us to His own marriage feast. You may adorn the celebration with modest apparel, with reverend men and women, with tables of fellowship. But let there be no filthiness, no lewdness, no works of darkness. Let the young women attend with gravity, as becomes those who honor chastity. Pray that the whole gathering would be girded about with holiness, that the bride and groom would enter their union in the fear of God, preserving the holiness which comes by faith, not mixing with corrupting company. For marriage is pure, but it is not the mere ceremony that sanctifies; it is the Lord. If we clothe ourselves in filthy garments, that is, in unrepented sins, we shall be cast out from the joy. So let them come to this earthly feast with bright apparel of heart, that they might one day be welcomed to the eternal wedding of the King’s Son.

We cease not to pray that health be restored and that this marriage function proceed with decency, order, and the manifest blessing of Christ our Lord, who with the Father and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns forever. Amen.

Your prayer request for healing and for the marriage function to go smoothly has been received, and we are bringing these needs before the Lord with you. Nothing is hidden from Him. He sees every detail of these two lives, the hidden struggles and the places where brokenness lingers. Because of His deep compassion, we can come with confidence, knowing that He understands our weaknesses and cares for our whole being.

We ask for healing in body, yes, but we remember that the greater need is always the forgiveness of sins and a soul made right with God. It is far better to enter His presence whole in spirit than to have perfect health in this life and miss eternal life. So we pray not only for relief from symptoms, but for a fresh work of grace deep within, that any unconfessed sin would be brought into the light, and that spiritual wholeness would come first. The Lord Jesus went about doing good and healing all manner of sicknesses, yet He always pointed people to the deeper reality of the heart. We ask for that same ministry now: healing that touches body and soul.

And we will not hold back our prayers because of any human tradition that might discourage us from expecting God to move. Jesus was grieved when religious rules were set up to hinder healing on the Sabbath, as if God’s mercy could be boxed in by a schedule. His power has not faded. The same Lord who stopped for a trembling woman in the crowd and made her whole is still the living, compassionate One. We trust Him to act according to His perfect will.

For the marriage function, we ask that it go smoothly, free from unnecessary stress or distraction. Marriage itself is a profound mystery, two becoming one, a compound unity meant to reflect something of the divine character. As this celebration approaches, may it be more than a mere social event; may it be a witness to faithfulness and joy. At the same time, keep an eternal perspective. Jesus reminded us that in the resurrection we will neither marry nor be given in marriage, but will be like the angels. That promise does not diminish marriage now; it lifts our eyes to a greater union still to come, the wedding feast of the Lamb. So we pray for peace, order, and gladness at this function, but even more, for the couple to build their life together on the solid foundation of Christ.

Be assured that we are joining you in these requests. May the Lord’s mercy rest upon those who need healing, and may His goodness be evident in the gathering you’ve mentioned.
