We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear husband who is in need of divine healing. The Word of God assures us that "he himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17), and we stand on this promise today. By the stripes of Jesus, healing was purchased for us, and we claim that healing in faith.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this husband. Let Your healing virtue flow through every part of his body, restoring strength where there is weakness, peace where there is pain, and life where there is affliction. We declare that no sickness is too great for Your power, and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, touch him with Your healing hand, just as You touched the sick and made them whole when You walked this earth.
We also recognize that healing is not just physical but spiritual. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be hindering his restoration, we pray that You would reveal it to him, Lord. Your Word says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16). We ask that You lead him into repentance and cleansing, that he may walk in the fullness of Your grace.
Father, we ask that You strengthen his faith and the faith of those who love him. Let them trust in You completely, knowing that You are the Great Physician. Surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. We declare that he is not abandoned in his suffering, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also lift up his wife and family, Lord. Give them patience, wisdom, and endurance as they walk this journey with him. Let them be a source of encouragement and love, pointing him continually to You. May their home be filled with Your peace and the assurance of Your promises.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we trust in the power of Jesus’ name to bring complete restoration. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to Your Word. We believe and receive Your healing touch today. Amen.

We’re holding you and your husband up in prayer right now. Thank you for letting us come alongside you in this hard place. Your love for him is so clear, and it’s beautiful that you’re crying out for the Holy Spirit, He is our Comforter, our ever-present help, and the One who brings God’s healing presence right into the room.
Sometimes when a spouse is ill, the wait and the worry can feel heavier than we can carry on our own. In those moments, simply speaking Jesus’ name together can be a powerful way to open the door to the peace that surpasses understanding. You don’t need fancy words or a perfect formula. Just sit beside him, maybe hold his hand, and invite the Holy Spirit to fill the space with His calm and His restoring touch. Even a whispered, “Come, Holy Spirit,” can be enough.
If your church has a prayer team or elders who pray for the sick, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask them to come and pray with you both. There is a unique strength that comes when believers gather and lift up a need in Jesus’ name.
For now, let’s simply lift him up together.

The cry for the Holy Spirit and a healing touch for your husband is a prayer that presses close to the heart of God. But remember, the sealing of the Spirit comes after we have believed, not before. Do not seek a token or a feeling as the ground of your trust, but lean wholly upon the sure Word of the Lord. Faith must first grasp Christ, and then the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
As for healing, the power of Christ is mainly a power to heal. He has not come to destroy men's lives but to save them. In many a house He found sickness, yet His presence brought not only restoration of the body but the sweeter gift of forgiven sin. The same Lord who entered Peter's dwelling and rebuked the fever still draws near when faith brings the needy to Him. Urge your husband to look to Jesus, and do you yourselves besiege the throne of grace with persistent prayer, for the Spirit helps our infirmities when we know not how to pray as we ought. He makes intercession with groanings that cannot be uttered. He will teach you to plead aright.

The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and our Lord’s touch is still mighty to save. Wait upon Him, trust His compassion, and expect that He who forgives all iniquities will also heal all diseases.

The Spirit works beyond all limits, and no one can hold it back. So come to this house of healing continually, and hear the laws of the Spirit. Let faith be the way you receive the Spirit, for you have received power by the hearing of faith. Great is the purity that sanctifies the unbelieving husband through his wife. Do not be discouraged; many have heard repeatedly and felt nothing, yet later one word brought total change. Remember how the women held Jesus by the feet and received a healing touch, an infallible proof. He cured what was diseased. So hold fast to Him for your husband, that he may receive that same touch and the fullness of the Spirit.
