We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family in fervent prayer. Father God, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we can be saved. We declare that salvation belongs to You, and we pray that every member of this family would know You intimately, walk in Your ways, and experience the fullness of life that comes only through faith in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we first lift up this dear husband who has been under heavy spiritual attack for many years. Lord, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against his body, mind, and spirit in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete physical healing, that every organ, cell, and system in his body would function as You designed. Strengthen him, Lord, and restore his health. We also pray for emotional and spiritual healing, break every chain of discouragement, fear, and despair. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and let Your joy be his strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

We address the spiritual warfare head-on, Lord. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on Your Word and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a hedge of protection around them, that the angels of the Lord would encamp around them and deliver them from every evil work (Psalm 91:11, 2 Thessalonians 3:3). Father, we ask that You would expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy, and let Your light shine into every dark place.

We also lift up the matter of taking medication as prescribed. Lord, we pray for wisdom and discipline for this husband. Help him to follow the guidance of his healthcare providers, knowing that You have given them knowledge and skill for his care. We declare that the treatments prescribed would work effectively and bring about the desired healing in his body. Let there be no side effects or complications, but only Your perfect restoration.

Father, we lift up the health of this dear sister’s elderly father and younger brother. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon them. Strengthen their bodies, renew their minds, and restore their spirits. Give them the grace to walk in faith, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. We declare that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we stand on Your promises for their complete restoration.

We also pray for the salvation of every member of this family. Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Let there be no hardness of heart, no unbelief, but only a deep and abiding faith in Christ. We pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).

Father, we lift up their finances before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon this family, that there would not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom in managing their resources, and let them walk in financial freedom and abundance.

We also pray for the hearing and case that is before them. Lord, we ask that You would go before them and make their way straight (Proverbs 3:6). Let Your justice prevail, and let the outcome be in their favor. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Give them favor with those in authority, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds as they wait for Your perfect timing.

Father, we pray for productive meetings today. Let Your Holy Spirit guide every conversation, every decision, and every interaction. Give this husband a spirit of positivity and encouragement. Let him be a light in his workplace, reflecting Your love and grace to those around him. Remove every spirit of negativity, fear, or doubt, and fill him with Your hope and joy.

Lord, we ask that You would intervene in every area of their lives. Let Your presence go before them, and let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them, that they would walk in the fullness of Your power and authority.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. We declare that this family is blessed, favored, and highly favored by You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and honor. Amen.

We hear how heavy this is, years of spiritual attack, your husband’s daily struggle, an important meeting and a legal case hanging over you, and the weight of carrying concern for your dad, your brother, and your whole household’s salvation. That’s a lot for one heart to hold.

It sounds like today’s meeting and the upcoming hearing are sitting right at the front of your mind, so let’s keep those in focus. Here is one concrete thing that might help: before the meeting, take just two or three minutes with your husband to ask the Holy Spirit to displace fear with a calm, clear mind. Not a long Bible study, just a quiet, specific prayer for the conversation ahead and for his outlook to lift enough to participate well. Even if he can only agree to that small step, it plants a seed of hope.

For the deeper, longer-term needs, the years of spiritual heaviness, the anger and negativity he voices daily, we want to encourage you not to carry that alone or try to fix it all yourself. If he isn’t already seeing a wise Christian doctor or counselor, we would gently nudge you both toward that. When emotional and spiritual weight runs this deep and this long, professional help alongside prayer is not a sign of weak faith; it’s good stewardship of the life God has given him. The same goes for his prescription, taking medication as prescribed matters, and we pray he will do so faithfully.

Lord Jesus, we bring this wife and her husband before You. For today, steady his mind, lift the heaviness just enough for him to speak with clarity and calm. Grant favor in the meeting and in the coming legal decision, according to Your will. Over the long years of struggle, we ask You to heal him, body, mind, and spirit, and break the patterns of hopelessness that have dug in so deep. Protect and restore her dad and her brother. And, Lord, draw this whole household gently and irresistibly into saving faith in You. Sustain this wife as she cares for so many. Let her feel Your nearness today. We ask all of this in Jesus’ name. The clouds are thick and the enemy presses sorely, yet the Lord reigns and His arm is not shortened that it cannot save. You have asked for healing for your husband, and it is a mercy that you bring him before the Throne of Grace. But remember, the deepest malady is the soul's disease, and for this there is a sure remedy in the leaves of the Tree of Life which are for the healing of the nations. The very least thing about Christ drips with restoring power. Physical and emotional torments are not beyond His touch, but spiritual deliverance is the root of all true healing. Your husband’s daily despair and the spiritual attack that harasses him are not hidden from the God who brought Israel out of Egypt by His own outstretched arm. Deliverance from such a cruel captivity is by divine power alone, and He is able to make a way where no man can.

Yet, what is the great need of your household? It is that you all behold the Son of God lifted up and find salvation in Him. You plead for your salvation, and well you may, for there is no other name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved. The Gospel is plain: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” That look is simple, it is trust fixed upon a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ, who has found a ransom, a full satisfaction for all the guilt of sinners. God Himself has found this ransom, so that salvation is entirely of grace, without money and without price. Cease from your own strivings and self-righteousness; cling only to the finished work of Calvary. Only when your own soul is safely anchored in Christ will you be able to bear up under these waves of trouble.

For the many temporal burdens, the illness of your aged father and younger brother, the weight of finances, the hearing and meeting that cause anxiety, carry them to the mercy seat, but bring them with an eye first fixed on Christ. The Master once said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” When your heart rejoices in God’s salvation, you will find that lesser deliverances often follow as shadows of the greater. I have known seasons of trembling like Jacob at the brook Jabbok, when I feared the outcome of a coming confrontation; yet the Lord changed the heart of Esau, and he ran to meet me and fell on my neck and kissed me. The God of Jacob still sits upon His throne, and He can turn the hearing and the product meeting to your favor in a moment, if it be His will. But let your chief desire be, not the mending of circumstances, but the salvation of your husband’s soul and your own full resting in Christ.

Urge your husband to come, even in his heaviness, to the Fountain of life. Do not grow weary in intercession, but be much in supplication. He that is mighty on his knees is mighty everywhere. Pray that the Holy Spirit would take the leaves of the tree, the simplest promises, the least words of the Saviour, and apply them with healing power to his spirit. A man may take medicine as prescribed, but only the Divine Physician can make it a true means of restoration. And while you wait, look yet again to Jesus. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of my deliverance, and it shall strike for you. Trust Him for the whole matter: your husband’s mind, your father’s health, your brother’s weakness, your daily bread, and the outcome of every legal entanglement. Christ Jesus carries your case, and in Him the eternal purpose of Jehovah is life, peace, and everlasting joy.

Only believe. Lay hold of that free salvation which is God’s own, and then you may sing with a glad heart, “I will rejoice in thy salvation!” The Lord bring you out of the iron furnace of your present trouble, and cause you to find that your extremity has been God’s opportunity to display the riches of His grace.

There is no medicine that can heal the soul unless the word of God is heard with care and held fast in continual recollection. You cry out against heavy spiritual attack and beg deliverance for your husband. Yet know this: no one part is sufficient for our salvation. There is required first a careful hearing, then fortitude, then contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. If the soul is soft and unmanly, or remiss in attending to the divine sayings, the enemy finds an easy entrance. Arm your tongue with spiritual words, meditate on the law of the Lord day and night, and you will be formidable to the devils. The mouth and hearing were given that we might sing hymns, speak His words, and do His deeds; by these the conscience is purified and grace drawn down. Let your husband give himself to this medicine, and take his prescribed remedies not as worldly care alone but as part of a battle ordered by God.

But you, wife, who desire his healing and a favorable hearing in your case, listen. If you truly wish to please your husband and win him back from the pit, do not suppose that any external device or anxious striving will accomplish it. I say this: even if your husband were infinitely debased, gentleness, meekness, modesty, freedom from pride and extravagance will more effectually reach him. If he is a profligate, no worldly contrivance will restrain him; if he is chaste, you will not gain him by adorning yourself with the reputation of a lover of the world, but by the opposite. Therefore, be not cast down. Let your life, hidden with Christ, be your adornment, and the Lord will fight for you.

As for your meetings and the success of the work of your hands, do your part in righteousness, but remember that the outcome is from God. He sets before us not only our own salvation but the chance that by living aright we may glorify Him and amend others. The death of the Lord Jesus was for the salvation of the whole world; how much more shall the fullness of His grace heal those who turn to Him? Seek first the salvation of all your house, your husband, your father, your brother, and train those under your care in piety and modesty. Make your home a school of virtue, where sons learn sobriety and self-command, and daughters keep at home, despising wealth and idle ornament. When the root is made good, good branches shoot forth, and you will receive a great reward.

I do not bid you to cease praying for healing or for your case; I bid you to pray with works. Let your husband’s spiritual attack be met with the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. If you both put away all softness, all worldly anxiety, and set your minds on things above, you will draw upon yourselves God’s grace and deliverance. The harlot does not value the man who is already her slave; she marvels at him who soars above her nets. So too the enemy flees when he finds a soul armed with spiritual meditations and contempt of this present life. Therefore, let your whole household engage in this good fight. I will join my prayer with yours, that it be God’s will to heal, to save, and to grant a peaceful outcome. But do not neglect the medicine of the soul, the careful hearing of the Gospel, and the adornment of a meek and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.

There are moments when the weight of everything you’re carrying feels like a crushing darkness, and you wonder if God is even working at all. But He is, often most actively when we cannot see His hand. Salvation itself is His work, placed entirely outside our capacity so that no one can boast. You are His workmanship, a poem of grace still being written. The same God who began that good work in you is more than able to finish it in your husband, in your home, and in your circumstances.

What you’re describing in your husband is not just a physical exhaustion or a string of bad attitudes. It is a deep spiritual assault, and the enemy would love nothing more than for him to remain in that darkness, refusing the very help that could sustain him. Healing is a sovereign work of God. It is never something we can force or claim as an ironclad demand, as if we could put God in a box. But we must always leave room for God to work miraculously, just as Jesus did when He touched the leper and made provision for what was humanly incurable. Jesus said, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Pray with that hope and leave the outcome in His merciful hands.

For your marriage, God’s design is remarkably simple yet profoundly difficult in our own strength. The wife is called to submit to her own husband as to the Lord, and the husband is commanded to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. When a husband is broken, bitter, or absent in spirit, it becomes nearly impossible for a wife to follow that design without a deep assurance of his love. But love is not rooted in his perfection; Christ’s love for the church was shown while we were still in rebellion. The love you continue to show, even when it’s not returned, is not wasted. The Scripture says the believing spouse sanctifies the home. Your faithful presence is a living testimony that God has not abandoned that household.

Regarding the hearing, the case, and the meetings, God often prepares deliverance from a quarter we never expected. He is working in you because He wants to work through you, and He may be readying something even in the logistics of a meeting today that will swing the door wide open. But do not let the urgent need for a positive outcome blind you to the greater work of salvation. The work of God is not finished until you and your family have fully received the pardon of sin and that new life of fellowship with Him. Everything else, finances, health, legal victories, is secondary to the eternal reality of your souls.

The Holy Spirit is not a distant force; He is the very presence of God able to break the heaviest attack. That daily darkness your husband voices is something only the Spirit can lift. When people try to substitute God’s work with mere human effort, it leads to exhaustion. The call for you today is not to frantically work for your salvation with fear, but to work out what God has already planted within you, trusting that He is the one giving you both the desire and the power to do His will. Encourage your husband, as you are able, to stop trusting in his own broken perspective and to trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross. It is there that the real battle was won.
