We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your exs father and for your ex and the whole family.
We have been lifting him up before the Lord and asking that God would be with him every second, that He would give him emotional, physical and mental strength and peace, that He would remove his pain and any bad side effects from his illness and make him comfortable. We have also been praying for your ex and his family, especially his wife, that God would give them strength and comfort as they walk through this difficult time. Above all we have been praying for healing according to Gods will, that if it is possible He would give him more years, and for the most important healing of all, that he would repent of his sins and receive salvation through Jesus Christ.
We take comfort in promises like Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved, and James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will save the sick.
We have been praying in Jesus Name that God would grant these requests for comfort, healing and salvation and that His peace which passes all understanding would rest upon this father and his loved ones.
