We lift up this precious son to You, Lord God Almighty, the Great Physician and Healer of all afflictions. We join this mother’s heart in crying out for Your mercy and grace to surround her child in this difficult season of medication-induced psychosis. Father, You see every struggle, every fear, and every moment of confusion he is enduring. We ask that You would bring supernatural clarity to his mind, quieting the auditory hallucinations and breaking the power of delusional beliefs that torment him. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We claim this promise over him, Lord, and ask that You draw near to him in a tangible way, reminding him of Your presence and Your love.
We pray for wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, that You would guide them to the right treatment plan—one that brings healing without further harm. Give them discernment to adjust medications, therapies, or interventions as needed, all under Your divine direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We surrender his care into Your hands, trusting that You will lead him to the help he needs.
Spiritually, Lord, we ask that You would help him discern Your voice above all others. In John 10:27, Jesus says, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."* We pray that he would recognize the voice of his Good Shepherd, finding peace and security in Your truth. If there are areas where his faith has been shaken, restore it, Lord. Strengthen his spirit to stand firm on Your promises, even in the midst of this storm.
We also rebuke the spirit of confusion and fear in Jesus’ name. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We command any tormenting thoughts or spirits to flee, and we declare Your peace over his mind and heart. Father, we ask that You would bring breakthrough in every area of his life—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and for the hope we have in Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Amen.
