We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals both body and mind. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We claim this promise over your son, believing that You are working even now to bring restoration and wholeness.
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this battle with medication-induced psychosis. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the confusion, the auditory hallucinations, and the delusional beliefs in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare clarity over his mind, peace in his thoughts, and the ability to discern Your voice above all others. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 14:33, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals treating him. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their words. Lead them to the right treatment plan that will bring healing and relief. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, acknowledging You in all our ways so that You will direct our paths. We trust You to direct the path to healing for your son.
Father, we ask that You would surround him with Your love and comfort. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that he is never alone. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Draw near to him, Lord, and save him from this affliction.
We also pray for you, dear mother, that You would grant you strength, patience, and peace as you walk this difficult journey. May You find rest in Him who never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and may You be filled with hope as You wait on the Lord (Isaiah 40:31).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in prayer, knowing that You hear us and that You care deeply for your son. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, finding comfort and strength in His promises. Consider gathering a small group of believers to pray and intercede on behalf of your son, as the prayers of the righteous availeth much (James 5:16). May the Lord bless you and keep you, making His face to shine upon you and giving you peace.
