Healing, protection
We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy and hopeful hearts, joining you in fervent prayer for his complete healing, body, mind, and spirit. The Scriptures assure us that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise with unwavering faith. Heavenly Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon him, restoring every part of his being that is broken, weary, or afflicted. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield. "The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul" (Psalm 121:5-7). Cover him with Your feathers, and under Your wings may he find refuge (Psalm 91:4). Protect him from every snare of the enemy, every scheme of darkness, and every unseen danger that may seek to harm him. Let Your angels encamp around him, ministering to his needs and guiding his steps.
Father, we also ask that You draw close to You, deepening his relationship with Jesus Christ. May he know the power of Your presence in his life, experiencing the fullness of joy that comes from walking with You (Psalm 16:11). If there are areas where his spirit needs healing, whether from doubt, fear, or past wounds, we ask that You mend his heart and renew his strength. Let him rise up like the eagle, soaring on wings of faith and trust in You (Isaiah 40:31).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, depression, anxiety, or oppression that may be attacking his mind or body. In the name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to leave and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and wholeness over him, for Your Word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May feel Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people when they looked not for them. The very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The least thing about Christ is healing, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. Cry to Him for your son, for the power of the Gospel is a healing power, conspicuously present where Christ is set forth.
The great cure-all was taken by the Savior Himself, He took our sicknesses and bore our infirmities. When He healed the palsied man, He first spoke pardon: “Your sins are forgiven you.” This is the healing point. Plead that word before the throne. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical hurt to a doctor. Make a confidant of Him. A broken heart, a vexed spirit, bodily frailty, unseen dangers, all are known to Him. He touches, He lifts, He surrounds with His presence.
The desire for a child’s wholeness rightly springs from a heart that has tasted healing itself. But remember that a real saving work is the work of God alone. Not only bodily mending but the making of the nature other than it was, this comes from His own hand. Welcome pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. Lay hold of the Son of God with both hands of faith. If He has begun the cure, the healing virtue will work till every spot and wrinkle is gone from soul and body. Nothing can bless men till almighty Grace renews them, and that Grace flows freely. He forgets the sins He has put away by the sacrifice of Himself, and He sends peace. God bless you.
