Healing, protection
We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You as a loving Father who cares deeply for Your children. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we ask for Your mighty touch upon, body, mind, and spirit. Restore him completely, Lord, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We pray for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield, guarding him from every form of harm, seen and unseen. The Bible assures us that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we claim that promise over his life today. Let Your angels encamp around him, delivering him from all evil (Psalm 91:11). Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), so that he may walk in confidence, knowing You are with him.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. Draw him closer to You, that he may know Your love, Your truth, and Your purpose for his life. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him experience Your presence in a tangible way. If there are areas in his life where he has strayed from Your will, we ask that You gently lead him back to the path of righteousness. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We trust in Your mercy and grace to cover him.
We thank You for the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that is healed, protected, and set apart for Your glory. May his life reflect Your goodness and bring honor to Your name.

Beloved Servant
The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, peace, perfect peace, even in the midnight of this world of care. When a mother’s heart is stayed on Him, He keeps it in perfect peace, for He has said, “Peace I leave with you.” That peace is a present possession, enjoyed even with sorrows surging round, even with a beloved son weighed down by affliction of body, mind, or spirit.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet, but the very leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. He can breathe into your son’s soul at this very moment a peace with God that passes all understanding, springing from the perfect remission of his sins. For it is written, “The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.” Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He first said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” He linked the healing with the teaching, the pardon with the command to rise.
Do not think this healing comes by human eloquence or mortal wisdom. It is the still small voice of God which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. That touch of personal faith brings peace to the soul. If your son will trust God, if you will trust Him for your son, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. The medicine, bitter as it was, was all drained by Christ Himself. He took our sicknesses and bore them in His own flesh. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared, and the Father sees His Son’s sacrifice and forgets the sins for which that blood was shed.
But healing must come before serving, and peace must be given before there can be strength for the day. Your son, lying prostrate under this trial, needs first that Jesus touch him and lift him up. The great contact is established in the Incarnation, there is healing in it. Seek that healing from the hand of the Great Physician, for He has power upon earth to forgive sins, and with that pardon comes the restoring grace. May the Lord visit your household with His saving health, and may you find the true peace at the feet of the Prince of Peace. He will bless His people with peace, peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement.
