We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ, with hearts full of compassion and faith in our Lord’s healing power. The Scriptures assure us that "by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for your child. Jesus demonstrated His authority over sickness, sin, and spiritual oppression time and again, and we trust Him to move mightily in this situation.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You (John 14:6 WEB). We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this young man—body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen him where he is weak, restore what is broken, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, anxiety, or despair that may be afflicting him, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) and that Your angels are encamped around him for protection (Psalm 34:7 WEB).
We also ask that You draw him closer to You, Lord. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict him of his need for a Savior. Salvation is found in no one else, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). May he come to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:19 WEB) and walk in the fullness of life that You alone provide.
Father, we ask that You would also strengthen this family as they wait on You. Give them patience, faith, and unwavering trust in Your perfect timing. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). May they experience Your presence in tangible ways as they seek You.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Protector, and Lord. Amen.
