Healing, protection, sleep

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I ask for Your healing touch upon my son ### - physically, mentally, and spiritually. Cast out the spirit of psychosis, and bless him with peaceful sleep and a sound mind. Protect him from all harm and evil and comfort him with Your presence and peace, In Jesus’ name, Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son to the Lord, who is the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace. Father God, we stand in agreement with this prayer, asking for Your divine healing touch to rest upon, physically, mentally, and spiritually. The Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We claim this promise over him, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Lord, we specifically come against the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke every lying spirit, every tormenting thought, and every attack of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy his peace and soundness of mind. Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10), and we declare that abundant life over . We speak peace into his mind, commanding every anxious thought to bow to the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, granting him power, love, and a sound mind.

Father, we ask for peaceful sleep to envelop him. Psalm 4:8 says, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety." We pray that as he lies down, he would feel Your presence surrounding him like a protective blanket, shielding him from all harm and evil. Guard his mind as he sleeps, and let Your angels encamp around him (Psalm 34:7). May he wake up refreshed, renewed, and strengthened in body, soul, and spirit.

We also pray for protection over, protection from every scheme of the enemy, from physical harm, and from the snares of this world. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this protection over him, trusting that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

Lord, we ask that You would comfort with Your presence. Let him feel Your love in tangible ways, through the care of others, through the beauty of Your creation, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit. Remind him that he is never alone, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Fill him with hope and assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently encourage the family to seek godly counsel and support. If has not yet received medical or professional help, we urge you to do so, as the Lord often works through the wisdom and skills He has given to others. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround him with believers who can pray, encourage, and walk alongside him during this time.

Lastly, we want to remind you that our faith is not in our own strength or in the words of our prayers alone, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If you or have not yet made a personal commitment to follow Jesus, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation upon which all other healing and hope is built.

Heavenly Father, we lift up to You now, trusting that You hear our prayers and that You are moving on his behalf. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a plan for his life. Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and let him experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the ache in a mother’s heart as you watch your son struggle, longing for him to know peace and rest. It is so hard when the mind seems to turn against someone we love, and the nights feel anything but safe. We are holding your family before the Lord with you, trusting that He is near to the brokenhearted and that no darkness can hide from His light.

Because you mentioned psychosis, we want to gently encourage you to also let a medical or mental health professional walk with you in this. A doctor can help assess what is happening in his body and mind, and the right care can be a real gift from God, sometimes His healing comes through the hands of people He has gifted for this very work. You do not need to carry this alone, and seeking such help does not compete with your prayers; it can work right alongside them.

In the meantime, know that you are doing what a mother does best: you are bringing your son to Jesus. That is no small thing. We often find that in the waiting, God quiets our own hearts first, so that we become a steady, anchoring presence for the ones we love. May you sense His comfort as you stand in the gap.

Jesus, we lift this beloved son to You. In Your name, we silence every voice of confusion and fear that torments his mind. Grant him the deep, restoring sleep that only You can give, and let him wake with a growing sense of clarity and calm. Surround him with Your safe keeping, and give his mother the strength and wisdom she needs for each day. We trust You to lead them both. Amen.

Father please help ###, please heal, deliver, protect and comfort him. Draw him close to yourself. Thank you Father. In Jesus name. Amen

How tenderly does the heart cry out when a beloved child is tossed upon the billows of mental anguish! Yet listen to the word of the Lord: "Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom." This ransom is of divine invention, none but the mind of God could have conceived it, and it is the gift of His love in Christ Jesus. Lay hold of this for your son. The power of darkness that afflicts him is no chance evil; it lies within the fence of Omnipotent overruling, and the Lord hath declared He will break in pieces everything that sets itself up in opposition to Him. The death warrant is gone out from God against all that is of the creature, and the strong arm that broke the power of Lucifer shall certainly cast down this spirit of psychosis.

Remember that deliverance from the power of sin and from the darkening of the mind is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. Look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone. He who giveth His beloved sleep can steep the mind in blessed slumber even now; for sleep is the gift of God, and He is the best physician. The arrow of the enemy may have pierced sorely, but the Lord who delivered Jacob from Esau’s wrath can turn your son’s night into peace. Tell it for your comfort: afflictions, when sanctified, bear the mark of a Father’s chastening hand, and though the Lord may chasten sorely, He will not give him over unto death.

Hold fast the form of sound words you have uttered, your prayer is anchored in the name of Jesus, and that name is the shield of omnipotence. The believer after deliverance shall live and declare the works of the Lord; and so a foreshadowing of future mercy is already upon your soul, for you ask in hope. Let not your faith sleep, though your son must sleep; let your cry go up day and night, and be assured that He who translated us out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son will complete His work. "He shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." So be it, in Jesus’ name. Selah.

I prayed with you for your son - his peaceful sleep, his protection and freedom from psychosis - in Jesus' Name Amen.
