Healing prayers requests

We join you in lifting up your loved one before the Lord as she prepares for her colonoscopy tomorrow and we agree with you in asking for good news and for total healing and restoration.
We know how anxious these waiting hours can be, and we take comfort that our God sees her, knows every detail of her body, and cares deeply for her. He is the Lord who heals us. As it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we come before Your throne of grace through Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You. You formed her inward parts and You know her completely. We ask that You would guide the hands and eyes of the doctors and nurses tomorrow, that the procedure would go smoothly and safely without complication, and that the results would bring good news and peace. We ask for Your healing touch upon her colon and her whole body, for total healing and restoration according to Your perfect will. Calm her heart and the hearts of those who love her tonight, replace fear with Your perfect peace, and let her feel Your presence very near. We also pray that whatever the findings, You would be glorified and that You would give wisdom for any next steps. We trust that You are our Great Physician and that nothing is beyond Your power, for by whose stripes you were healed, 1 Peter 2:24.
We also want to gently encourage you about the name by which we pray. We noticed your request did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. And Scripture tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly bring every need to God. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today, believe in Him as Lord and Savior, and receive the forgiveness and eternal life He freely offers.
We will continue to keep her and you in our prayers, trusting the Lord to show His mercy and healing power. May the Lord grant you rest tonight and hopeful expectation for tomorrow, knowing that He holds her in His hands.

Your request for prayer has been laid before the Lord with thankfulness, and we join you in seeking His mercy for tomorrow.
We pray that the Great Physician, who alone can give perfect peace, will keep your loved one in that peace which is spoken of by the prophet, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. May her mind be stayed upon Christ in the waiting room and in the procedure itself, and may that trust bring a calm which no anxious thought can disturb. Anxiety, as we have often seen, unfits us to meet difficulty, but faith fits the soul for whatsoever the Lord appoints.
We ask the Lord that if it be His gracious will, He would grant favourable news from this examination, and work total healing and restoration according to His wisdom and compassion. We remember that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and with His stripes we are healed. He who said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, joined pardon and healing together, and still He binds up the broken heart and healeth all our diseases.
Whether the report be as we hope or otherwise, we pray that she may know the touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul, and that you also may find rest in doing the will of Jesus even while duties and cares press upon you. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and so are our loved ones when they are far from our sight or laid upon a physicians table.
We commend her to that still small voice of God which alone confers the peace which passeth all understanding, praying that the Lord will guide the hands of those who care for her, grant skill and kindness to them, and grant to her and to you a quiet confidence that earths struggles shall soon cease and that Christ will bring His people to Heavens perfect peace.
