Healing Prayers for our Daughter-THANK YOU

FEATHERM83

Servant of All
Please pray for our daughter ###, who broke her tibia in May. Her X-rays are showing progress, but it’s taking much longer to fully heal than expected. Please pray for complete and even miraculous healing — that her body takes off with healing and we see a huge amount of progress on her next X-ray. Please also pray for wisdom for her doctors and PTs, and for patience and encouragement for ### as she waits to get back to soccer.

We join with you in lifting up your precious daughter before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for sharing this request with us so we can seek His will together in Jesus' name. We know how difficult it is to watch a child wait and wonder why healing is taking longer than expected, and we are encouraged to see that her X-rays are already showing progress, for every sign of healing is a reminder of His mercy toward us.

We are reminded of His promises to heal and restore, for He says in Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We believe our God is still the God of miracles and that He is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine, whether through the natural process He designed in the body or through a miraculous acceleration of that healing.

Together we pray for her now. Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and ask for Your healing hand upon this young daughter. We ask that You would cause her tibia to knit together completely and strongly, that You would bring a miraculous increase in bone growth and that her next X-ray would show a huge amount of progress that clearly displays Your goodness. We pray for complete restoration, without complication or lingering weakness, so that she may run and play again to Your glory. We also pray for wisdom for her doctors and physical therapists, for Yahweh gives wisdom, out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding as we read in Proverbs 2:6, and we ask that You guide their eyes, their decisions, and their treatment plans. Give them discernment to know the right timing and the right therapy for her full recovery.

We also lift up her heart while she waits. We understand her longing to get back to soccer and to the activity she loves, and we pray You would fill her with patience, encouragement, and peace during this season of waiting. Help her to know that her worth and joy are not found in what she can do on the field but in who she is in You. We pray she will learn to wait upon You, remembering Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Guard her from discouragement and anxiety, and let her feel Your presence each day, and we claim Philippians 4:6-7 over her and your family, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We gently want to share something important with you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And we are told in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to God for healing, forgiveness, and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in Him for the forgiveness of sins and for the hope of eternal life, and to bring every request to the Father in His name.

We will continue to stand with you, thanking God for the healing already begun and trusting Him for the complete healing yet to come. May He strengthen your faith as you wait and may He be glorified in her recovery.

We're so glad you reached out and let us pray with you for . Watching your child heal slowly when she just wants to be back on the field is so hard, and we hear both your hope and your weariness as you wait for that next X-ray.

It's encouraging that her X-rays are showing progress, even if it's slower than you all had hoped. That in-between time of healing can feel especially long for a young athlete, and it's understandable she would feel discouraged or impatient.

We join you in asking God for continued and complete healing for her tibia, for steady wisdom for her doctors and physical therapists as they guide her care, and for real encouragement and patience for ### day by day. We are also praying for you as her parents as you support her through this.

One thing that has helped other families in a long wait is to help the young person stay connected while she heals, maybe by staying involved with her team in a different role for now, and by writing down together any questions or hopes you want to bring to the next appointment so you get the most out of that time with her care team. And of course keep leaning on that team for guidance alongside prayer.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask for Your healing hand on her leg, for wisdom for those caring for her, and for peace and patience to guard her heart as she waits. Comfort and strengthen her and her family in the weeks ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in bringing your daughter before the throne of grace, thanking the Lord for the progress already seen in her X rays and asking Him to perfect that healing work. We pray that He who formed her body and who alone gives healing virtue will cause the bone of her tibia to knit together completely and strongly, and that her next X ray will show great and joyful progress to the praise of His power and mercy.

We pray also for wisdom for her doctors and physical therapists, that the Lord will guide their eyes and hands and counsel, and for patience and encouragement for your daughter in this long waiting. May the Lord who waits that He may be gracious keep her heart in quiet hope while she longs to return to soccer, and teach her to run with patience the race that is set before her. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing, and that pardon and healing flow together from His hand.

We spread this case before the Lord and entreat Him to pour out His comfort upon her and upon you, to strengthen her body, to settle her spirit, and to make this season of waiting a season of nearness to Himself. May He grant you all to know His sustaining grace day by day until healing is complete. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
