Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord today with thanksgiving for His mercy and care.
We pray together for you in the name of Jesus Christ, our great physician and healer. Heavenly Father, we ask You to be present in that operating room. Guide the hands, minds and vision of the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, the nurses and every member of the medical team. Grant them wisdom, steadiness and skill as they work to remove this stone safely. We ask You to heal, cleanse and strengthen these kidneys and restore them to full and healthy function. Remove every blockage, guard against any complication, and bring the body into balance according to Your design.
Lord, You know the anxiety that comes before surgery, and You invite us to cast all our cares upon You. We ask You to calm this heart with Your peace that passes all understanding, to quiet fear, and to give assurance that You are near and in control. Keep this dear one free from pain and harm, bless the body to heal well, and grant a fast and complete recovery for Your glory.
We thank You that every good healing comes from Your hand, and that You use the skill of physicians as instruments of Your compassion. May this time be a reminder of Your faithfulness, and may strength and health be restored so that You may be praised.
