We join with you in prayer and thank God for your desire to seek Him with your whole heart and to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you. This is a godly and humble request that pleases the Lord.
We rejoice that you have asked for wisdom and understanding in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We thank you for honoring His holy name.
Your prayer for a wise and understanding heart reminds us of Solomon who prayed in 1 Kings 3:9 Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil. God was pleased with that prayer and gave him great wisdom. We are encouraged by the promise in James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The Lord delights to give wisdom to those who seek Him diligently. We also stand with you on Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. We pray the Lord will surround you with wise, godly counsel and help you to walk closely with those who love His Word, so that your faith and discernment will grow.
We also hear your desire to pour out your whole soul before Him in prayer and to learn effectively in His Word. This is the very heart God desires. Jeremiah 29:13 says You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. And Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. We pray God will give you hunger and discipline to abide in Scripture daily and that He will open your understanding as you study. Joshua 1:8 reminds us This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein, for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. We pray you will be faithful in meditation and obedience, for wisdom is not only knowing the Word but doing it. We also remember 1 Corinthians 4:2 Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful. We ask God to make you faithful in little and in much, for His glory.
We also lift up your physical needs to our Great Physician. We pray for complete and final healing in the name of Jesus Christ for your teeth especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh and the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We know our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and God cares for every part of us.
We pray in faith according to Psalm 103:2-3 Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. And we cling to Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We remember Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We ask the Lord to touch each area you mentioned, to bring relief from pain, to restore what is inflamed or afflicted, and to remove what should not be there, if it be His will. We also encourage you to continue to be a good steward of your health by seeking wise medical counsel as needed while trusting ultimately in the Lord who heals.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the holy name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this dear one who seeks You with a sincere heart. Father, we ask that You grant a wise and understanding heart, that You pour out Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and that You teach how to be a faithful steward of time, resources, health, and every gift You have entrusted. Help us to seek You with all our heart, to pour out our soul before You in prayer without ceasing, and to delight in Your Word and to learn it effectively. Make Your Word alive in us and fulfill Your promise that as we walk with the wise we will become wise. Lead us away from foolish companions and draw us close to those who will sharpen us in faith.
Lord, we also bring every physical affliction before You. Lay Your healing hand upon the teeth and that wisdom tooth, upon the eyes to restore clear sight, upon the left leg and pelvis, upon the lumps in the thigh and abdomen, and upon the stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. You know the cause of each pain and swelling. We ask for Your mercy, for complete healing and restoration, for peace and strength in the body. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through healing. Give wisdom to any physicians involved and give patience and hope while waiting on You.
We trust You, Father, for You are faithful and Your love endures forever. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with mature believers who can walk with you in wisdom. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, and we trust He will answer according to His perfect will and timing.
