Thank you for sharing your heart and these requests so openly. It is a good and right desire to ask God for a wise and understanding heart, and to want to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you.

Scripture teaches that true wisdom comes from the Lord. Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding, and He stores up sound wisdom for those who walk uprightly. He is a shield to them and He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of His people. Wisdom is described as the principal thing, more precious than rubies and better than silver and gold, and nothing we desire can compare to it. In her right hand is length of days, in her left are riches and honor, and all her ways are pleasantness and peace. That wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, and to turn away from evil is understanding. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so to seek Him is to seek wisdom itself.

You asked to seek Him with your whole heart, to pour out your soul before Him in prayer, and to learn effectively in His Word. That is exactly how wisdom is found. We are called to incline our ear to wisdom and apply our heart to understanding, to receive instruction and to perceive words of understanding. When we truly search for wisdom and knowledge, that search leads us to God Himself, and there we find the knowledge of God. As you continue in the Word, ask Him to give you an understanding heart and to keep His words before your eyes. Love wisdom as a close companion and keep His commandments, and she will preserve and keep you.

You also mentioned the promise that to walk with the wise is to become wise. That is true, and it works both ways. As you walk closely with the Lord, who is wisdom itself, and as you fellowship with others who fear Him and walk in His ways, you will grow in wisdom. Counsel and sound wisdom belong to Him, and those who seek Him early will find Him.

I also join you in prayer for your body. God cares about our physical needs, and Scripture shows that the suffering of Christ was not only for the healing of sin but also for the healing of the body, as Matthew applies the prophecy of Isaiah to the physical healings Jesus performed. At the same time, it is wisdom and faith, not a lack of faith, to bring our physical needs to the Lord and to trust His will, saying as Jesus taught us, Your will be done. He knows what is best and He loves you completely.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this dear one before You. Grant a wise and understanding heart, fill this life with Your wisdom and knowledge, and teach how to be a faithful steward of all You have given. Draw this heart to seek You fully, to pour out the soul before You in prayer, and to grow in the knowledge of Your Word. Lead to fellowship with wise and godly people and cause wisdom to increase day by day. I also ask for Your merciful touch upon the body, upon the teeth and the wisdom tooth on the right, upon the eyes, upon the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, upon the areas of concern in the thigh and on the abdomen, and upon the stomach, intestines and the whole gastrointestinal tract. Lord, bring complete healing according to Your perfect will, grant relief from pain, and restore strength and health for Your glory. Keep this one in Your care, guard the path, and let Your peace rule in the heart. In the holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

May the Lord continue to give you wisdom and understanding as you seek Him, and may you know His presence and His healing hand upon you.
