Your desire for a wise and understanding heart to be a faithful steward is pleasing to God, and it echoes the prayer of Solomon. He did not ask for riches or honor, but for wisdom to carry out what God had entrusted to him, and God was pleased with that request. Wisdom is spoken of in Scripture as if she were a person calling out in the streets, inviting all to come and receive. In Jesus Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, so to seek wisdom is to seek Him.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, more valuable than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare with it. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. That reverence for God is the starting place. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom gives the ability to apply those facts rightly in daily life. There is a wisdom that belongs to this world which is earthly and self seeking and leads to envy and strife, but the wisdom that comes from above is pure, then peaceable and gentle, full of mercy and good fruits. It shows itself not in boasting but in a life lived in purity and peace. Your prayer to seek Him with all your heart, to pour out your soul before Him, and to learn His Word well is the right path, for prayer begins with God making His will known to our hearts so we can pray it back to Him, and His Word is the means by which He instructs us in righteousness, judgment and equity. The promise you quoted is true, walk with the wise and you will become wise, and as you walk close to the Lord and fellowship with those who walk in His wisdom, He will shape your heart.

We also join you in prayer for healing and bring your physical needs before the Lord our Healer. Jesus healed the sick in His earthly ministry, and the early church continued to pray for the sick, laying hands on them and asking in faith. The Scripture says the prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise them up, and that the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. When two or three agree concerning a matter, the Lord hears. We agree with you now for your teeth and that wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the growths in the upper left thigh and on the abdomen, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract, asking for complete healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that God will grant you healing according to His perfect will and timing. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes healing comes as a process, and sometimes His grace sustains us in weakness for His greater purpose, but in every case He remains the Lord who heals and who makes His strength perfect in our weakness. We ask Him to give you peace as you trust Him, to guide those who care for you, and to use even this trial to draw you deeper into His Word and presence.

May the Lord grant you that wise and understanding heart you seek, keep you faithful as a steward of all He has given you, and cause His Word to be fulfilled in your life as you continue to seek Him with your whole heart.
