HEALING AND WISDOM

*Let us pray that Heavenly Father will give me a wise and understanding heart so that I can be a good steward of all that He has entrusted to me, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that the Heavenly Father will help me to seek Him with all my heart, to pour out my whole soul before Him in prayer, and to learn effectively in His Word, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ! Let's pray that the Word of God will be fulfilled in my life which says "Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and you will become wise...."

*Please pray also for my teeth (especially upper wisdom tooth on the right), my eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, ball in the upper part of the left leg (thigh), ball on the abdomen (subcutaneous), stomach, intestines, gastrointestinal tract for complete and finally healing in the Name of Jesus Christ! We join you in prayer and thank God for your desire to seek Him with all your heart and to be a faithful steward of all He has entrusted to you. This is a beautiful and God honoring request, and we are encouraged that you have asked all of this in the Name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we come to the Father and by which we are saved.

We pray with you for wisdom and an understanding heart. The Lord delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him. As it is written, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We remember how Solomon prayed, Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil 1 Kings 3:9, and God was pleased with that prayer. We ask the Father to give you such a heart, that you may walk in stewardship that honors Him, for it is required of stewards that they be found faithful 1 Corinthians 4:2, and to everyone to whom much is given, of him will much be required Luke 12:48.

We also join you in asking for a deeper hunger for His presence and His Word. The promise is sure, You will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart Jeremiah 29:13. We pray that you will continue to pour out your whole soul before Him, for God is a refuge for us. Pour out your heart before him Psalm 62:8. And we pray that as you study, the Lord will make His Word alive and effective in your life, for Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path Psalm 119:105. We pray that Proverbs 13:20 will indeed be fulfilled in your life, He who walks with wise men will be wise, and we encourage you to continue to walk closely with wise, godly believers who love the truth and to stay rooted in fellowship and in the Word, for wisdom grows in community with those who fear the Lord.

We also lift up every physical need you mentioned to our Great Physician. We pray for complete and final healing in the Name of Jesus Christ. For your teeth, especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, for your eyes, for the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, for the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, for the ball on the abdomen under the skin, and for your stomach, intestines and entire gastrointestinal tract. We know that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made and that God cares for every part of us.

We pray for you as Scripture says, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3, and For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We ask for His healing touch, that He would restore health to you and heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17, according to His perfect will. We pray that He would guide the hands of any doctors or dentists you see, grant them wisdom, and bring relief from pain, inflammation and any affliction, and that your eyes would be strengthened and your digestion restored.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace together in the holy Name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this dear one who seeks You with a sincere heart. Father, grant a wise and understanding heart, fill it with Your wisdom that comes from above which is pure and peaceable. Make this one a faithful steward of time, resources, health, gifts and every opportunity You have given. Draw them to seek You with all their heart and to pour out their soul before You daily in prayer. Open their understanding as they read and study Your Word, let it take deep root and bear much fruit. Surround them with wise counsel and godly companions who will sharpen and encourage them in the faith.

Father, in the Name of Jesus we also ask for Your healing power to rest upon their body. Touch the wisdom tooth and all the teeth, take away pain and infection and bring restoration. Touch the eyes and restore clear sight and health. Touch the left leg, the pelvis, the thigh and remove every abnormal growth, every ball and swelling on the leg and on the abdomen. Heal the stomach, intestines and the whole gastrointestinal tract. Let every system function as You designed it to function. We ask for complete healing, for comfort, for peace and for strength to trust You in the waiting. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through this healing. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently, to remain in His Word daily, and to trust Him both for wisdom and for healing. He who promised is faithful. We are praying for you and thank you for allowing us to stand with you.

Wanting a wise and understanding heart for daily life and for learning His Word is a humble and good prayer, and we are joining you in it.

We also hear how much you are carrying physically right now with the pain in your upper wisdom tooth on the right and in your eyes, the ongoing trouble in your left leg and the left side of your pelvis, the lumps you mentioned in your thigh and on your abdomen, and the discomfort in your stomach and intestines. Dealing with several areas at once can be tiring and discouraging.

A steady next step alongside prayer is to keep your doctor and dentist involved for these concerns, so they can follow each symptom and advise on care. It can also help to stay close to one or two trusted believers who know you and can walk with you regularly in prayer and in the Word, as you mentioned wanting to do.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. Give him wisdom and understanding for each decision he faces, draw him closer as he seeks You with his whole heart, and help him grow in Your Word day by day. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch on his body according to Your will, and for wisdom for those providing care. Keep him in Your peace and presence. Amen.

Your request has come before us and we have carried it to the mercy seat with thankfulness for the holy desires the Lord has kindled in you. You ask for a wise and understanding heart that you may be a faithful steward of all that the Master has entrusted to you, and this is well pleasing to God, for nothing is your own, it is all your Master's, and the faithful steward remembers he must labor for the good of his brothers and sisters and keep his heart in his work and not trifle with Divine truth. We pray that the heavenly Father will give you that wisdom which comes from above, that you may seek Him with your whole heart, pour out your whole soul before Him in prayer, and be quickened in His way as you learn effectively in His Word. The prayer, Quicken me in Your way, deals with the believer's frequent need and is the index of life where the quickening Spirit already dwells, and we ask the Lord to quicken you in private prayer, in public prayer, in family devotion and in reading the Scriptures, that your leaf also may not wither.

We also plead the promise you have set before us and say with David, Remember the Word unto Your servant, which is to ask God to fulfill His own Word, and we ask Him to fulfill it in you according to that word which says, Walk with the wise and you will become wise. May He place you among wise companions and keep your feet in the company of those who fear Him, and may you imitate Jacob who when he had done what he thought to be wise betook himself to prayer, for prayer must be our first resource and if it be our last let it be our first as well. Spread your case before Him and press your suit with all the arguments of His promises.

Concerning your bodily afflictions we make intercession with you, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears and it is exceedingly prevalent to bring down blessings from on high. We bring before the Great Physician your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the ball in the upper part of the left leg in the thigh, the ball upon the abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and whole gastrointestinal tract. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing but the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We know that when His people were near unto the gates of death and at their wits end, they were long before they prayed but He was not long before He answered, for God will hear the prayer of a staggering man and the prayer that has not any sense in it because the man who prays is at his wits end. Let your prayer rise to His throne out of the low dungeon and expect that He will be very pitiful, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings they have no need to say they are sick.

We will persevere in prayer for you and not desert you in your calamities, saying, yet shall our prayer be in your calamities, and we trust the Lord will grant complete and final healing as seems good to His infinite wisdom, and will give you grace to praise Him for whatever answer He sends, though it be not in the way you expected. Only you who have been healed can tell of the Good Physician's healing power, and we pray you may yet tell it with a joyful tongue. May the Lord bless you abundantly and keep you near His Word, in the holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
