Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for inviting prayer. We are joining with you and bringing your requests before the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
Your desire for a wise and understanding heart is a desire that pleases God. When Solomon was asked what he wanted, he did not ask for riches or honor but for wisdom to steward well what God had entrusted to him, and God delighted to answer that prayer. Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, more valuable than rubies, and nothing we desire can compare with it. Knowledge may give us facts, but wisdom teaches us how to live rightly before God. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent love for Him that turns away from evil. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and wisdom itself calls out like a host who has prepared a banquet, inviting all who will come to receive. As you seek Him with your whole heart, pouring out your soul in prayer and giving yourself to His Word, He will meet you. He promises that if we walk with the wise we will become wise, and He gives generously to those who ask Him.
There is a wisdom that belongs to this world, and it is earthly and self seeking and leads to envy and strife, but the wisdom that comes from above is pure and peaceable and bears good fruit in a life. True wisdom will always lead you closer to holiness, to righteousness and sound judgment, and to a faithful stewardship of all God has placed in your hands. Continue to love wisdom, to keep her words, and to ask daily for understanding, for God delights to give it.
We also bring your body before the Lord for His healing touch, your teeth and especially the upper wisdom tooth on the right, your eyes, the entire left leg and the left side of the pelvis, the areas in the thigh and abdomen, and your stomach, intestines and gastrointestinal tract. We believe God is the healer and that every healing, whether it comes in a moment or gradually through the processes He has built into our bodies, is from His hand. We do not always understand why some are healed instantly and others over time, but we trust His goodness, His power and His perfect will. We ask Him to bring complete and lasting healing to you according to His mercy.
May the Lord grant you a heart that fears Him, that departs from evil and walks in His ways, and may His Word be fulfilled in your life as you walk closely with Him and with wise and godly counsel. May He strengthen you in prayer, make His Word alive to you, and guard your health in His care. We pray this in the holy name of Jesus Christ.
