We lift up your ### before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and hope. First and foremost, we pray for his healing, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. The Word of God assures us that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise, believing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Father, we ask You to restore him in every way, that he may walk in the fullness of Your strength and peace.
Now, regarding his desire for marriage, we rejoice in the goodness of God’s design for this sacred covenant. Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33), and it is honorable in all (Hebrews 13:4). However, we must also emphasize that this union is to be between one man and one woman, as You have ordained from the beginning (Genesis 2:24). We pray that your ### seeks a godly spouse, a woman who loves You above all else, who will walk in faith, wisdom, and purity alongside him.
If there has been any past sin, such as fornication, adultery, or ungodly relationships, we encourage repentance and turning away from those paths. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). Let his heart be fully surrendered to You, Lord, that he may pursue marriage in a way that honors You.
We also remind him that true love is patient, kind, and selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4-7), and that a godly marriage is built on mutual submission to Christ (Ephesians 5:21). If he is not yet a follower of Jesus, we pray that he would come to know the Savior, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6) and the power to live in a way that pleases Him.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear ### to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon his life, body, mind, and spirit. Restore him, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also pray for his future marriage. Guide him to a woman who loves You and will walk with him in faith. Let their union be a testament to Your love and grace, built on the foundation of Christ. If there has been any sin in his past, cleanse him, Lord, and lead him in Your righteousness.
Above all, we pray that he would come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, if he has not already. May his heart be turned toward You, and may his life reflect Your glory. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, Redeemer, and coming King. Amen.
