We come before You, Lord Jesus, with hearts full of faith and trust in Your healing power and provision. We lift up these concerns to You, knowing that You are the Great Physician, the Provider, and the One who calms our anxieties.
First, we bring the matter of the eBay refund before You. Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those involved and grant wisdom and favor in this situation. Let there be clear and prompt communication, and may justice and fairness prevail. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). We pray that no one would act out of malice or frustration, but that all would respond with patience and kindness.
Lord, we also pray for physical healing. We ask that You would relieve the runny nose, allergies, and any signs of illness. Strengthen the immune system and guard against sore throats, strep, or further sickness. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this healing in Your name, Jesus.
We also bring the concern about weight and self-image before You. Father, we ask that You would help cultivate discipline and self-control, which are fruits of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Remind us that our worth is found in You alone, not in our appearance. Help to honor our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) by making wise choices in what we eat and how we care for ourselves.
Regarding finances, we ask for Your provision and peace. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We trust that You know every need and will provide in ways that bring glory to Your name. Help to manage resources wisely and to be content in all circumstances.
Lord, we also ask for warmth and comfort during this cold time. Provide what is needed to stay healthy and protected from the elements.
Father, we want to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved. If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to confess their sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and invite Him into their hearts. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or lack in the name of Jesus. We declare that these concerns are under the blood of Jesus and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up each of these needs. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on the body, mind, and spirit. Bring resolution to the eBay situation with fairness and peace. Provide financial wisdom and contentment, and help us to honor You with our bodies. We trust in Your promises and declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill us with Your peace and joy as we wait on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
