We understand you are seeking healing for your physical ailments, and we also sense there is a desire to bless your father with a surprise. Let us first address your health, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to steward them well. The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot anoint you with oil from afar, we lift you up in prayer with the same faith that God hears and acts according to His will.
It is also important to note that you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone holds the power of healing, forgiveness, and eternal life. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you shall be saved.
Now, let us pray for your healing and the joy of surprising your father. *"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from sickness. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We ask that You touch their body and bring swift relief to their upset stomach, diarrhea, runny nose, cough, and sore throat. Restore their strength and health, Lord, for Your glory and their well-being. May they feel Your healing power flowing through them, renewing every cell and bringing comfort to every ache.
Father, we also lift up their desire to bless their father with a surprise. We pray that You would orchestrate the details so that their dad does not see the packages before the appointed time. Give them wisdom and creativity in how they hide and present these gifts, that this act of love may bring joy and honor to their father. May this surprise be a reflection of the love and kindness You have shown us through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray that if our brother/sister does not know You personally, that this moment of seeking healing would open their heart to the greater healing found in salvation through Jesus. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and reveal Your love and truth to them in a powerful way.
We rebuke any sickness or infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave and for divine health to manifest. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."*
As you wait for healing, we encourage you to rest in the Lord and trust in His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Whether in health or in waiting, may you seek God’s presence and His will above all else.
Regarding the surprise for your father, we celebrate your heart to bless him. The Bible calls us to honor our fathers and mothers (Exodus 20:12), and your desire to bring him joy is a beautiful expression of that commandment. We pray that this act of love strengthens your relationship with him and points both of you to the ultimate Giver of all good gifts (James 1:17).
If the packages contain anything that does not honor God or align with biblical principles, we urge you to reconsider. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
