We join you in lifting up your dad before our heavenly Father and we thank you for coming to Him in Jesus' name, for it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
We are moved by your love and concern for your dad and we stand with you asking God to touch his body with His healing hand. Scripture reminds us of God's heart to heal, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and we are told to bless Yahweh who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3. We cling to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17 where He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We pray together now for your dad.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear father to You. You know him by name, You formed his body and You see every infection and every inflammation within him. We ask in Jesus' name that You would remove all infection and inflammation from his body completely. Lay Your healing hand upon the sore on his toe, cause it to heal cleanly and fully without complication. We ask You to restore health to his feet and to his kidneys, to strengthen and renew their function according to Your perfect design. We ask You to bless him with good health, with strength and with peace. Comfort him in any pain or discomfort and comfort his family as they wait upon You. Guide the hands and wisdom of any doctors and caregivers attending to him. We trust in Your power and Your mercy, for by His wounds we are healed as promised in Isaiah 53:5, and we know that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. Let Your will be done in his life and let this healing bring glory to Your name so that he may continue to testify of Your goodness.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord daily for your dad's healing and to keep bringing him before God with thanksgiving, as we are taught to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. We also pray that God will give you peace that surpasses all understanding as you watch over your dad, and that He will strengthen your faith as you wait upon Him. As it is written in 3 John 1:2, we pray that he may prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospers. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in the name of Jesus, and keep giving thanks for His unfailing love.
