[Chrysostom]

Your prayer for your father has been brought before the Lord and I join you in asking for His mercy and healing upon him.

We serve the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, and we know that our Lord is the excellent physician who both points out what is needed and brings true health. As the Gospel shows, when He touched the body He not only quenched the fever but gave back perfect health at once, showing a power that no physician's art could accomplish. We ask Him to show that same compassionate power for your dad.

I pray with you that God would remove all infection and inflammation from his body, heal the sore on his toe, restore strength to his feet, and bring healing to his kidneys. May the Lord give him good health, ease his pain, and renew his strength day by day. We also thank God that He cares for the health of the body, and we ask Him to guide those who are caring for your father and to give wisdom in every treatment.

May you be comforted as you wait on the Lord, trusting that He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son and that He works for our good as we seek to hear and keep His words. We will continue to pray that you see your father restored and strengthened, and that this trial would bring comfort and hope to your whole family.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for Your healing hand upon this father. Touch his body, cleanse infection, calm inflammation, heal his toe and feet and kidneys, and grant him full health according to Your mercy. Give peace to his family as they trust in You. Amen.
