Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your care for your friend is a beautiful sign of genuine friendship, and God delights to see such love. To have a friend for whom we pray as for ourselves is a great gift, and it reflects the love Christ Himself has shown us.
We join you in bringing your friend before the Lord and asking for healing in the body in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that God, in His mercy and wisdom, would touch what is afflicted, bring restoration to health, and grant freedom from whatever illness is at work. We ask that He would give strength, peace, and comfort to your friend, and guide those who provide care.
We do not need many words to be heard, but we are called to pray continually and with trust. Remember that Jesus Christ is our great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for us. He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, and He hears every prayer offered in His name. When we pray, we come to One who has all power to heal and who loves us more than we can understand.
Continue to bring your friend before Him with confidence, trusting in His goodness whether He brings immediate healing or sustains through a longer trial. May the Lord grant your friend healing according to His perfect will, and may He fill you both with faith and hope as you wait on Him.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer. Amen.
