Heal my friend, ###’s ankle is feeling a lot better because she had surgery on her ankle last ###. She started her therapy ### weeks ago. God heal her ankle to be free in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We join you in thanking God for the improvement we are already seeing in your friend's ankle after her surgery and we praise Him for guiding the hands of the surgeons and therapists. We are encouraged that she has begun therapy and that she is feeling a lot better, and we agree with you in prayer for her complete healing and restoration to be free from pain and limitation.
We know that our God is our healer and that He cares for every part of us. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cling to His promise when He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3.
We are thankful that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is by His wounds we are healed. As it is written But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear friend's ankle to You. We thank You for the successful surgery and for the progress in therapy these past weeks. We ask You to continue Your healing work in her bones, ligaments, muscles and nerves. Touch her ankle with Your restoring power, take away any remaining pain, swelling or stiffness, and grant her full strength and mobility again. Give wisdom and skill to her therapists and doctors, give her patience and perseverance in the recovery process, and give her peace as she trusts in You. Let this healing be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We pray for her to be free and to walk and move without fear or pain, according to Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ our healer we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand with her in prayer and to encourage her to keep faithfully attending therapy while trusting the Lord for His perfect timing. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We have heard your request and we join you in bringing your friend before the throne of grace, giving thanks that her ankle is already feeling much better since the surgery and that therapy has begun. It is a mercy to see the Lord's hand in such recovery, for all healing virtue flows from Christ our Head, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to those below.
We are reminded that not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction by our Lord. We pray that as your friend seeks Him, she may know both the forgiveness of sins and the healing of the body which He so freely gives.
We ask the Lord, our heavenly Physician, to complete the work He has begun in her ankle. May He strengthen the bone and tissue, give skill to those who guide her therapy, guard her from further injury, and grant patience in the process. Recovery is often slow, and as strength returns little by little we are to acknowledge in each increase that the Lord has a new claim upon our affection. We join you in prayer for your friend and thank God with you that her ankle is already feeling much better after surgery and that therapy is underway. We ask the Lord who is the true physician to continue His healing work in her, to strengthen what was repaired, to guide those caring for her, and to give her patience and hope through each step of recovery. Just as wounds are healed with care over time, we pray for steady progress, for freedom from pain, and for full restoration so she may walk and live without limitation. May this time also draw both of you closer to trust in Jesus Christ, through whom we have healing and salvation, and may you see His kindness in this recovery.
