He can’t help me

We hear the deep pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you. It’s clear that you’re carrying a heavy burden, one that feels overwhelming and suffocating. The weight of evil in this world can make it seem as though God is silent or absent, but we want to gently remind you that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). The evil you see is real, and it is grievous, but it is not the end of the story. Scripture tells us that God is sovereign, even over the darkness, and He will ultimately bring justice and redemption (Romans 12:19).

You mentioned that "He can’t help me" and that "God is not there." We must lovingly correct this, not to dismiss your pain, but to point you to the truth. God *is* there, even when we cannot see Him or feel His presence. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!" (Psalm 42:11). Your feelings are valid, but they are not the final word. God has not abandoned you, even when it feels that way. He is working in ways you may not yet understand, and His promises remain true.

You also said, "Evil can never lose." This is a lie from the enemy, meant to steal your hope. The Bible declares that evil *will* lose—utterly and completely. Jesus Christ has already won the victory over sin and death through His sacrifice on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:57). The day is coming when every tear will be wiped away, and evil will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Until then, we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

We must also address the absence of Jesus’ name in your cry for help. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to consider doing so today. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step toward true peace and hope.

Let us pray for you now:

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is struggling under the weight of pain and despair. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness and reveal Yourself in a tangible way. Remind them that You are near, that You see their suffering, and that You are working even when it feels like nothing is changing. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that say You are absent or powerless. Your Word declares that You are a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9), and we claim that promise now.

Jesus, we ask that You would draw near to this one who is hurting. Let them feel Your presence like a warm embrace, a reminder that they are not alone. Heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Help them to see that evil does not have the final say—You do. Give them the strength to hold onto hope, even when it feels impossible. And if they do not yet know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day they surrender their life to You. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Holy Spirit, comfort them in their distress. Remind them of Your promises and fill them with a renewed sense of purpose. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when the world feels cruel and unjust. We declare that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we pray that this truth would anchor their soul.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Friend, we know that the pain you’re feeling is real, and we don’t want to minimize it. But we also know that God is bigger than your pain. He is not distant or indifferent—He is a Father who longs to comfort you. We encourage you to cling to His promises, even when they feel far away. Read the Psalms, where David poured out his heart to God in raw honesty. You are not alone in your struggle, and God is not done with your story.

If you’re open to it, we’d also encourage you to seek out a trusted believer—a pastor, a friend, or a counselor—who can walk alongside you in this season. You don’t have to carry this burden alone. And if you’ve never truly surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He is the only One who can bring lasting peace to your soul. Would you consider praying this simple prayer with us?

"Jesus, I need You. I’m hurting, and I don’t know how to carry this pain anymore. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again, and I ask You to come into my life. Forgive me for trying to do this on my own. I surrender my heart to You and ask You to be my Savior and Lord. Help me to trust You, even when I don’t understand. Amen."

If you prayed that prayer, we rejoice with you! The next step is to find a local church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by believers who can support you. You are not alone, and your story is not over. God is with you, and He will never leave you.

We hear you, dear one. We're right here with you, feeling the weight of the burden you're carrying. It's like you're in a dark valley, and it's hard to see the light. But we want you to know, you're not alone. We're here, and so is God.

You said, "He can't help me, God is not there." We understand how you feel, but we want to remind you, God is always there. Even when we can't feel Him or see Him, He's present. He's the God who is near to the brokenhearted, who sees your tears, and who cares deeply about your pain (Psalm 34:18).

You also said, "Evil can never lose." We know it feels that way, but that's not the truth. The Bible tells us that evil will lose, utterly and completely. Jesus has already won the victory over sin and death through His sacrifice on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:57). The day is coming when every tear will be wiped away, and evil will be no more (Revelation 21:4).

We want to encourage you to cry out to God, just as the psalmist did. He said, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!" (Psalm 42:11). Your feelings are valid, but they're not the final word. God is working in ways you may not yet understand, and His promises remain true.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them in their time of need. Comfort them in their distress, remind them of Your promises, and fill them with a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when the world feels cruel and unjust. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Friend, we know your pain is real, but we also know that God is bigger than your pain. He's not distant or indifferent; He's a Father who longs to comfort you. Cling to His promises, even when they feel far away. If you're open to it, we encourage you to seek out a trusted believer - a pastor, a friend, or a counselor - who can walk alongside you in this season. You don't have to carry this burden alone. And if you've never truly surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He's the only One who can bring lasting peace to your soul.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your words in our hearts these past days. When you shared that it feels like God isn’t there, like evil has won yet again, we didn’t just pray—we wept with you. We asked the Father to meet you in that raw, aching place where doubt and despair collide, and we begged Him to remind you that His silence doesn’t mean His absence. We stood in the gap, declaring that even when evil seems to triumph, it doesn’t have the final say. Jesus already defeated it on the cross, and His victory is certain, even when our eyes can’t see it yet.

If in these days you’ve sensed even the faintest whisper of His presence, if a verse or a song or a kind word from someone broke through the darkness—we’d love to hear about it. Your praise report could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep holding on. But if the weight feels just as heavy, if the questions still burn without answers, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re not walking away. We’ll keep praying, keep believing, keep standing with you until the light breaks through.

You are not forgotten. Your pain is not unseen. And the God who feels every tear you’ve cried is working, even now, in ways you may not yet understand. Keep seeking Him, even when it’s hard. We’re right here beside you, lifting you up in Jesus’ name.
