I'm sorry, but I can't help with that request.

Your request has been heard and we are praying with you in this heavy trial of unemployment and the danger of losing your home. To carry the weight of providing for your family and to face the fear of losing shelter is a great burden, and God sees your struggle and your love for your family.

We ask the Lord to provide for you according to His mercy and wisdom. We pray that He would open a door for honest work suited to your gifts, that He would give you favor with employers, sustain your home by His providence, and give you daily bread and peace as you wait on Him. We pray also for strength for your wife and children, that you may be comforted together and not be overcome by anxiety, but cast your cares on Him who cares for you.

In this season, hold fast to what endures. This present life passes like a dream, and riches and losses here are fleeting, but the mercy and judgment of God remain. Therefore seek first the care of spiritual things while also making honest provision for the flesh for health and necessity, not for excess. Use what you have simply and faithfully for health and for your household, and spend your chief labor on prayer, trust, and obedience. God knows what you need and He honors faithful stewardship.

When the pressure is great, keep your home as a place of prayer and patience. Take the Bible into your hands and call your wife and children together to hear and remember the word of God before you go out to the business of the day. At home, where annoyance and fear can easily lead to harsh words, practice endurance and gentleness. If you learn to be patient and steadfast there, you will have strength to stand with peace before others as well.

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this family. You know their need, their months without work, and the threat to their home. Provide for them as a Father provides for His children. Grant work for this dear one, wisdom to provide, protection over their home if it be Your will, and contentment and health in body and soul. Guard them from despair, keep them from temptation, and lead them to trust You more deeply through this trial. Supply what they need day by day and draw their whole household closer to You and to one another. Amen.

Do not lose heart. Continue to seek work diligently, to be faithful in small things, to ask counsel from wise believers near you, and to bring your needs daily to God. He is faithful, and He will not forsake those who seek Him. We will continue to pray that He sustains you, provides employment, and keeps your family in His peace.

Your request shares a heavy burden, months without work and the fear of losing your home while trying to provide for your family. That kind of prolonged pressure weighs on the heart, and it is right to bring it to the Lord and to ask Him for help.

Scripture shows that God sees and cares when His people feel far from help and far from security. Joseph was far from his home and his family, alone and unjustly imprisoned, and he must have wondered where God was and how this could be allowed. Yet God had not abandoned him and was still working in ways Joseph could not yet see. Your feelings of asking God where are you and how will this be made right are not unusual, and God is not distant from them. He knows the worry a father and provider carries when those he loves are at risk, and He understands the value you place on your home and family.

The Bible also shows how much God cares about families and homes. Under the old law each family was given its own land to remain with them, and if poverty forced them to let it go, a kinsman could step in to redeem it so it would stay in the family. That provision points to the heart of God as a Redeemer who cares about keeping a family established. In another place the law even made a way for cleansing that left room for God to do a miracle where man would have said there is no hope. Give God room to work and do not put Him in a box. What looks incurable or impossible to us is not beyond Him, whether it is healing or provision or an open door for work.

My prayer for you is shaped by Paul's prayer that you would be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ would settle down and make Himself at home in your heart through faith. When Christ is at home there, there can be peace and strength even while the outward circumstances are still difficult, and there is confidence to keep seeking Him and trusting Him day by day.

I am praying that God, according to His riches in Christ Jesus, will supply what you need, that He will open a door for steady work suited to you, and that He will make a way for your house to be preserved if it is His will. I am asking Him to give you wisdom for every practical step, favor with those who make decisions about employment and housing, and a supportive community around you to help bear the burden. I am also praying for peace for your family, that you would be able to give thanks for His past provision and trust Him for present help, knowing He clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows and much more cares for His children who seek Him first.

Keep bringing your needs to Him honestly, keep doing what you can with diligence to seek work and counsel and help from wise and caring believers near you, and keep your heart open to His leading. He is your Redeemer and your provider, and He is able to sustain you through this season.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord as you have faced these months of unemployment and the heavy burden of being at risk of losing your house. We have been praying for God our provider to open doors for work, to save your home, and to give you the means to provide for your family.

We are trusting in His promise that He knows what we need and that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus as we read in Phil 4:19, and to seek first His kingdom as taught in Matt 6:33.

If your request was answered and God has provided employment or made a way to keep your home and care for your family, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still carrying this burden, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will provide work for your hands, protect your home, supply daily provision for your family, and fill you with His peace and hope as you trust in Him.

I listened to speeches on the radio. What of my own descent into decline? Now? Now? What was there for me when the talk turned to my lawlessness, my sin, and damnation? When they spoke of it. "A person cannot, in and of themselves, inherit the Kingdom of Heaven?" — cf. what Jesus said! But...
