Hate

Why have I been lied to and about? I have no one. What did I do to deserve this pain and suffering. I would rather be alone than make these cruel people mad. I have prayed, begged, and pleaded for their understanding and forgiveness. Why did I survive to be treated like this. I hate my family. They only hurt me and never believe me. I want to leave and never see them again. I hope I never need them again either. Everyone has issues with me. I am sorry. Please help me leave.

We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The pain of betrayal, loneliness, and rejection, especially from those who should love and protect you, is a burden no one should have to carry alone. You are not forgotten, and your suffering does not go unnoticed by the Lord. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are seen, you are valued, and you are deeply loved by God, even when it feels like no one else is on your side.

The lies, the cruelty, and the dismissal of your pain are not just wounds inflicted by others, they are injustices that grieve the heart of God. He hates deceit and oppression, and He calls us to truth and justice. "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). What has been done to you is wrong, and it is right to acknowledge that. You did not deserve this. No one deserves to be treated with such disregard, especially by family. The pain you feel is valid, and it is okay to name it for what it is.

Yet we must also address the hatred in your heart, for it is a heavy weight that will only deepen your suffering if left unchecked. Hatred toward your family, or anyone, is a poison that harms you far more than it harms them. Jesus taught us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This does not mean you must stay in harm’s way or pretend the wrongs done to you are acceptable. But it does mean that harboring bitterness will only chain you to the very people you wish to escape. Forgiveness is not about excusing their behavior; it is about freeing yourself from the grip of their cruelty. It is a process, and it may take time, but it is the path to true healing.

You have prayed, begged, and pleaded for understanding and forgiveness, yet it seems your cries have gone unanswered. We want you to know that God has heard you. He collects every tear and records every unspoken prayer (Psalm 56:8 WEB). The silence you feel from others does not mean God is silent. He is working, even when you cannot see it. And while it may feel like you have no one, you are not alone. The Lord promises, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). There are also believers who care for you, even if you haven’t met them yet. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and we stand with you in this.

Your desire to leave is understandable. If your family is a source of ongoing harm, emotionally, spiritually, or even physically, it may be necessary to create distance for your own well-being. The Bible does not require you to endure abuse or toxicity in the name of "family." However, we urge you to seek wise, godly counsel before making such a decision. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (WEB). This could be a trusted pastor, a biblical counselor, or a mature believer who can help you discern the next steps. If you are in immediate danger, please reach out to local authorities or a domestic violence hotline for protection.

You mentioned praying, but we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The pain you are experiencing is not the end of your story. Jesus came so that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). He is the only one who can truly heal your wounds and give you the strength to move forward. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). In Him, you will find a love that never fails, a family that will never abandon you, and a purpose that transcends your pain.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is hurting so deeply. Lord, You see every lie that has been told, every wound that has been inflicted, and every tear that has fallen. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon their soul. Comfort them in their loneliness and remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them.

Father, we ask that You would soften their heart toward forgiveness, not for the sake of those who have hurt them, but for their own freedom. Help them to release the bitterness and anger that threatens to consume them. Give them the strength to set boundaries where needed and the wisdom to know when to walk away. Provide for their every need, Lord, and surround them with people who will love them as You do.

We pray for their family, Lord. If there is any hope of reconciliation, we ask that You would work in their hearts as well. But if not, we trust You to be their family, their protector, and their provider. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as a beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made.

Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. If they do not yet know You as Savior, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them experience Your love, Your peace, and Your presence in a tangible way. Be their refuge, their strength, and their hope.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to cling to God’s promises. Write them down, speak them aloud, and let them be the anchor for your soul. Here are a few to hold onto:

- "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1 WEB)
- "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
- "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)

You are not defined by the cruelty of others. You are defined by the love of Christ, and in Him, you have a future filled with hope. If you need practical help, whether it’s finding a safe place to stay, connecting with a biblical counselor, or simply someone to talk to, please reach out to a local church or a trusted ministry. You do not have to walk this path alone. We are here for you, and more importantly, God is here for you. Keep pressing into Him. Your breakthrough is coming.

We hear so much pain behind your words, the exhaustion of being lied to and about, the loneliness of feeling that no one believes you, the ache of wanting to just leave it all behind. It’s not wrong to feel that way. When the people who should have your back are the ones causing the deepest wounds, it can feel like you’re drowning in it. You’ve done nothing to deserve this, and we’re sorry you’re carrying it.

What you’re longing for, a way out, a place where you’re safe and heard, matters. Taking steps toward that is not giving up; it’s sometimes necessary for your own well-being. We’d encourage you to reach out to a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted someone from a healthy church nearby. They can help you sort out a practical, safe plan for leaving, while also caring for the bitterness that threatens to follow you. Even one steady person who believes you can make the loneliness less crushing.

As you move forward, try not to let the weight of hatred become a permanent backpack. You don’t have to pretend the lies never happened or force yourself back into a harmful situation. Forgiveness doesn’t mean pressing a reset button on relationship, it can simply be a way of handing God the heavy load so it doesn’t break you. You don’t have to figure that out today, but it’s something to start whispering to Him.

Jesus, you see this pain and the longing to be free. Hold this one close tonight. Give them clear direction for a safe path, and bring someone trustworthy to walk alongside. Quiet the voice that says they deserved this, and in time, lift the hate that feels so heavy. In your name we ask.

Hear this and let it sink deep into your spirit: troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground like hemlock from the furrows of the field, but the Lord, Himself, kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand, and this is a gladsome fact which makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. You ask what you did to deserve this pain, but look higher: God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins! Saved from the devil! Saved from evil company, for God has said it, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit."

There is a balm, there is a physician who can heal all these natural wounds, who can give joy to the troubled countenance, take the furrow from the brow, wipe the tear from the eye, remove the agitation from the bosom, and calm the heart now swelling with grief; for he "healeth the broken in heart." When Jesus is received by faith, He lifts all our sorrow from us in a moment. One promise applied by His Spirit, one drop of His blood brought home to the conscience, and at once there is such a peace so deep and profound that nothing can rival it! The burden of a sinner does not need two ticks of the clock for it to be removed, swifter than the lightning's flash is that verdict of absolution which comes from the eternal lips when the sinner lies hoping, believing, repenting at the feet of Jesus!

The least thing about Christ is healing. There is not a Word that ever fell from those dear lips but what bears healing in it for some one or other of the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity! Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Nobody would have thought of that way of the deliverance of a sinner from the pit of Hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it! God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but he has found a ransom. It is a gift of Divine Love. Receive Him, accept Him, believe Him, trust Him! That is all you have to do. Oh, will you not trust Him? Can you doubt Him? Then you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The soul that cries out in such anguish has indeed been wounded by those who should have been a shelter. When even blood becomes venom, the heart is tempted to close its gates forever. This is no small trial, and the pain you suffer is real, like a sword in the bones.

Yet consider the One who hung upon the Cross while soldiers mocked Him and His own fled. Even there, in that extremity, He did not cut off affection. He provided for His mother; He spoke mercy to a thief. Before His passion He showed the weakness of human nature in trembling, but on the tree He revealed the excess of divine power. Why? To teach us that though we may be troubled before terrible things, we must not, having entered the contest, shrink back as if all were impossible. Your survival, which you now question, is not an accident. It is the arena where this power can be perfected.

You say you have prayed, begged, and pleaded for their understanding and forgiveness. That is the very struggle for which the Apostle’s heart’s desire and prayer was made: that those who oppose might be saved. But such prayer must first cleanse the one who offers it. You stand before God with your gift of suffering, yet the command comes: leave your gift there before the altar, and go; first be reconciled to your brother. Does this seem impossible when they will not even believe you? Christ considered no dishonor to Himself for the sake of love. Your forgiveness, offered not from cowardice but from the strength of a soul looking to the future life, intercedes more eloquently than words.

Beware lest the love of escaping pain become a tyrant worse than their cruelty. Drunkenness with wrath puts the soul beside itself as surely as any passion. To say, “I would rather be alone than make them mad,” carries a seed of wisdom, for it is better to dwell in the wilderness than with strife. But examine your purpose. Did Abraham leave his country from hatred of his kindred? He left as though leaving a foreign land, with no clinging to what was behind, yet without bitterness, his life a common gift to all passers-by. Your departure, if God opens the door, must be likewise: not a flight of loathing, but a pilgrimage toward the City whose builder is God.

Their cruelty is written in your heart like a painful letter, but what is written can be rewritten by the Spirit. You are become an epistle unto them, even if they now misread it. Do not blot the page with returning evil for evil. Show hospitality of soul, forbearance, contempt for earthly comfort, and let your very distance be a sermon of peace. For the measure of suffering is measured out to all; only the soul fixed on Christ has the strength to digest it.

The one who betrayed our Lord for silver heard the most terrible woe. Hatred of one’s own house opens a similar pit. Do not fall into it. The way may now seem dark, but you know the Way, Christ Himself, who went before us into rejection. Follow Him, not with a heart seething, but with the steady step of one who prefers the future life to the present. Let your prayer now be: not that you never need them, but that you may both be saved, and that your endurance, by God’s power, might one day move them to shame leading to knowledge. Until then, bear the pain as a sacrifice laid upon the altar, and do not let the gift be soiled by hatred.

The raw anguish you are pouring out does not escape the notice of the Lord. When you cry that you have no one, that you have begged for understanding and found none, you stand in a place where the Savior Himself stood. People hated Jesus without a reason, without a cause. Ask them why they harbor such animosity toward Him, and they cannot give a truthful account. The hatred of the broken world against what is good remains a twisted mystery, and it often falls hardest within the walls of a family. The jealousy that burned in Cain festered until it became a murderous hatred for his own brother, simply because God accepted Abel. That ancient pattern of evil lashing out at good persists, and you are feeling the sting of it.

Do not mistake the source of your deepest need. Your spirit is thirsting, not merely for kind relatives or a sympathetic ear, but for the living God. There is a lie that whispers the next emotional change or the removal of a difficult person will finally quench that burning thirst inside you. But the thirst of the soul cannot be satisfied by an emotional experience, and neither can it be healed solely by escaping a painful location. People chase emotional highs to cover a guilt complex or a hollow ache, but the game ends, the feeling fades, and the thirst remains. Only one voice says, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink." Flee to Him first, and let the satisfying of your spirit take priority over the rearranging of your circumstances.

Consider what hatred does. It is a horrible and destructive master, and it harms the one who carries it just as severely as it harms its target. A person who hates uses the lips to bring discord and dissemble, often hiding wickedness behind a deceitful smile. Yet sin, including the bitterness and hatred you are wrestling with, is ultimately a self-inflicted wound. It destroys your relationship with others, but it also ravages your own inner peace, leaving you, as you said, in a state of pain and turmoil. Why do something that only destroys? The heart cries out in pain and says, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest." The terror and horror you feel are real, and the desire to vanish is a longing your Father understands.

Do not base the foundation of your faith or your future on the shifting sand of an emotional appeal. Our emotions are a strange thing; the feeling of love can flip to hatred in a moment, and the English language is too poor to define the broad spectrum of feeling. A strong emotional turning is far less important than anchoring your life upon the facts of God's Word. The fruit that remains is what grows from a faith rooted in His truth, not in a fleeting moment of sorrow or rage. Release your family to God. You cannot control their deceit or their disbelief, but you can refuse to let the venom of unbiblical hatred destroy your own spirit. If you are holding onto a bit of pride that fuels this fracture, lay it down. If not, then entrust those who have hurt you to the One who judges justly, and walk forward in His light rather than stumbling in the dark bitterness they offered you.

The Lord sees the pain you suffer at the hands of those who should have protected you. The emotional cuts from a cruel tongue can feel worse than a physical blow. But you do not need to hope you never need them again; you need to bring your bleeding heart to the Great Physician who bottles your tears. Let Him be the balm for your pain. Do not let the hatred you feel separate you from the healing presence of Jesus. Survive, not to be treated like this, but to drink deeply of His grace, letting Him build a new legacy of peace within you that no earthly family can steal away.
