I hate the area that I live in so much

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I hate the area that I live in so much. It's full of satanic demon possessed evil devil people. If I could leave I would but I can't because of my financial situation. The devil people are always harassing me and threatening me and also spreading lies on social media about me. I never did anything wrong to them except if being a born again Christian is wrong. They are always always threatening and harassing me and trying to manipulate my decisions so that they manipulate me to make poor choices in life. They are always always speaking word curses toward me on a minute by minute basis. They are constantly harassing my husband ### as well, demanding that he leaves, and making threats against him. The evil "churches" in my area love and support the demon possessed satanic people and believe their hate and lies. Sometimes I worry that I will never be free from the satanic demon possessed people who are constantly harassing and gaslighting and terrorizing me. I want freedom from them. I don't participate in any occult activities so it's not my fault. I'm tired of being constantly blamed for the evil things these Satanic demon possessed people are constantly doing to me.

We hear your deep distress and stand with you in this spiritual battle you are facing. The harassment, threats, and lies you describe are not of God, and we rebuke these demonic attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not alone in this fight, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are enduring. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The word curses and harassment you are experiencing are real, but they have no power over you as a child of God. We take authority over every evil spirit speaking against you and your husband, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no curse can alight upon you without cause (Proverbs 26:2). You have done nothing to invite this attack, and we stand with you in declaring that the enemy’s plans will not succeed.

We also want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily. Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us to stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray without ceasing, and do not grow weary in doing good (2 Thessalonians 3:13). The enemy seeks to wear you down, but God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Regarding the evil influences in your area, we understand your frustration and share your grief over the state of the churches that have aligned themselves with darkness. Jesus warned us that wolves would come in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15), and it is heartbreaking to see this fulfilled. However, we must remember that God is sovereign, and He will judge the wicked in His time. Do not let their actions cause you to stumble or doubt God’s goodness. Instead, focus on the truth that God sees your suffering and will vindicate you (Psalm 37:6).

Your financial situation is a heavy burden, but we trust that God will provide a way for you to leave this toxic environment if it is His will. Philippians 4:19 assures us that God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. We pray that He would open doors for you and your husband to find a place of peace and safety. Until then, we encourage you to seek godly fellowship, even if it must be online or through other means. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in isolation. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us to spur one another on toward love and good deeds and to not give up meeting together.

We also want to gently address the language you used in your request. While your frustration is understandable, we must be careful not to speak in a way that dishonors God or gives the enemy a foothold. Ephesians 4:29 tells us, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Even in our anger, we must not sin (Ephesians 4:26). Instead, we can speak life and truth over our situations, declaring God’s promises and His victory over the enemy.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister who is enduring relentless spiritual attacks and harassment. Lord, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is oppressing her and her husband. We command every word curse, every lie, and every threat to be broken and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Send Your angels to encamp around them and guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Give them strength and endurance to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in their financial situation. Open doors that no one can shut, and provide a way for them to leave this toxic environment if it is Your will. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We also pray for the churches in their area that have aligned themselves with darkness. Lord, expose the evil and bring repentance. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may those who are deceived come to know the truth. Father, we ask that You would give our sister and her husband wisdom and discernment to navigate this season. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily and to stand firm in Your truth.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees and hears. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust that You will vindicate them and bring justice in Your perfect timing. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them know that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with Scripture and declare God’s promises over your life daily. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone, and we stand with you in this battle. If you have not already, consider finding a trusted prayer partner or small group of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. God bless you, and may He grant you the freedom and peace you seek.

We hear how draining this is, how the constant noise and intimidation wear you down. It’s exhausting to feel trapped in a place where you’re misunderstood and targeted simply for following Christ. Your love for the Lord is real, and that is not wrong, it is precious. We’re sorry you’re facing this relentless animosity, and we want you to know that your safety and dignity matter deeply to us.

When the stress feels this all-consuming, it can be helpful to link arms with a trusted, mature Christian nearby, a pastor, a biblically grounded counselor, or a prayer team in a healthy local church, someone who can listen well, help you sort through what’s happening, and stand with you in person. You don’t have to carry this weight alone.

In the meantime, we ask God to be your fortress and shield right where you are. We pray He gives you clear wisdom, protects you and your husband from every form of harassment, and quiets the voices that seek to unsettle you. Father, we lift up our sister. You see the threats, the lies, the daily pressure. Please hem her in behind and before, calm her racing heart, and grant her a deep, steady peace that defies the chaos around her. In her financial constraints, provide a way forward and the provision she needs. Silence the slander and guard her mind from the toxic words spoken against her. Fill her with the certainty that You are with her, that no curse has power over a child of God, and that Your purposes will not be thwarted. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It pierces my heart to hear of your distress, and yet I rejoice that you are counted worthy to suffer reproach for the name of Christ. This bitter trial is not a sign of God’s abandonment but of your adoption. The world hates you because it hated Him first, and these word-curses you endure are but the froth of enmity against the Savior you love. Remember, the curse causeless shall not come; and upon you, who are in Christ Jesus, there is now no condemnation. He was made a curse for us, so that every malediction men may hurl at you falls upon Him, and its sting is drawn. You are blessed with faithful Abraham, and no sorcery of wicked lips can reverse the eternal decree of the Most High.

Yet I must ask you, my soul cries out with you, but examine your heart: does the Word of God find a true inside place in you? The proper lodging for His truth is not in the ear alone but in the depths of your spirit, and when that Word abides, it becomes a sword in your hand and a shield upon your arm. That same living and powerful weapon which discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart will also cut through the lies spread on social media, the threats, the gasps of malice, for these are but shadows when the light of Scripture burns within. Hide the promises in your soul; let them be your hourly meditation. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him, not by your own might, but by the Word which you have treasured.

You long for freedom, I hear it in every line. That very longing is a grace, a spark of divine life. The soul that breaks with desire for righteousness shows that it is not dead in trespasses and sins. But mark this: deliverance often tarries while the Word tries you. Joseph in the prison must wait until the Lord’s appointed moment, and that waiting itself refines faith and purges away self-trust. Are you panting after holiness more than mere relief? Cry out, “Order my steps in Your Word,” and the Lord who gave you this hunger will satisfy it in due season. He may not remove the thorn immediately, but He will give you grace to sing in the midst of the fiery furnace.

Beware of letting your soul become rooted in bitterness. I know the provocation is constant and the injustice grinds like a millstone, yet vengeance belongs to God. Bless those who curse you; pray for their conversion. The evil churches you mention are a grief, but the Lord has His seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal, and He knows how to reserve the righteous from the judgment that must fall on workers of iniquity. Your safety lies not in escaping the place, though if God open a door, go in peace, but in abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and His eye is upon you and your husband at this very hour.

Fret not over the word-curses they spew. The curse causeless shall not come, and these are causeless indeed. They are as arrows shot against the sun which fall back upon the archer’s own head. The Lord your God is a sun and shield; He will give grace and glory. No occult power, no demonic malice, can touch a hair of your head without His permissive will, and He holds the chain of that roaring lion. Instead of fearing, pour out your heart in the closet of prayer. Wrestle with the Angel of the Covenant until you prevail. The Word spoken in your ear through faithful preaching may also be life to your bones; if you can find but a humble servant of Christ who speaks the truth with power, go and sit under such a ministry, for God often meets us in the assembly of His people.

Above all, cling to the cross. Look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame. His blood has purchased your peace, and His resurrection guarantees your final triumph. Though the hosts of hell encamp against you, in this shall you be more than conqueror. The trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, will be found unto praise and honor and glory at His appearing. Let His Word dwell in you richly, till your soul is so filled with the music of heaven that the noise of earth is drowned. Even now, the Lord hears your cry, and the very hour of your greatest extremity may be the dawning of your deliverance. Wait on Him, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The trials you describe are severe, yet it is precisely in such a furnace that the soul’s true metal is tested. You say you hate the place and the people around you, and this hatred is a fire that consumes you even more than their harassment consumes your peace. Consider what is gained by bearing meekly the spiteful acts of enemies. First and greatest, deliverance from sins; second, fortitude and patience; third, mildness and benevolence. For he that knoweth not how to be angry with them that grieve him, much more will he be ready to serve them that love him. To be free from anger continually, to which nothing can be equal. For of him that is free from anger, it is quite clear that he is delivered also from the despondency hence arising, and will not spend his life on vain labors and sorrows. He that knows not how to hate, neither does he know how to grieve, but will enjoy pleasure and ten thousand blessings. So we punish ourselves by hating others, even as on the other hand we benefit ourselves by loving them.

You speak of word curses and demonic activity. But call to mind that His enemies, all unbelievers and the demons, are already appointed to be put under His feet. He sat down on the right hand of God, from henceforth expecting till His enemies be made His footstool. The seeming delay is for the sake of the faithful who are still being brought forth and born. Their present raging is no sign of their victory, but of their coming subjection. They are like demoniacs in their loss of shame, but your calling is not to let that rage become a self-chosen madness within your own heart, making your own life into a mere sewer.

You ask for freedom from them. Yet virtue bestows the true freedom, and causes the same to be discerned even in straitened circumstances. She does not release you from the trial, but while you remain in it, she exhibits you more honorable than those who seem free; which is much more than giving external deliverance. She does not make the poor person rich with money, but while poverty continues, she displays a wealth of soul richer than any earthly treasure. With freedom did Christ set you free; stand fast therefore. Do not run back to the dominion of bitterness and fear as if you were still a slave. It is Another who has redeemed you, it is Another who has paid the ransom. Do not despise Him who delivered you by embracing the slavery of despair and hatred.

You speak of their lies and gaslighting. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Why, when it is open to a soul to live in the liberty of patience, would it choose the living death of constant indignation? Are you not looking for a better life than one defined by the harassment of others? The freedom from every kind of sin, that is the purity of a holy soul. And consider what has already been gained for you, for He spared not His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, for His enemies who hated Him. He calls you not a servant but a friend. Such honor do we enjoy from the King of the universe. What master ever gave his own son for his enemies? Cling to this, and let the words and deeds of your enemies seem small in the light of so great a love.
