We hear your deep distress and stand with you in this spiritual battle you are facing. The harassment, threats, and lies you describe are not of God, and we rebuke these demonic attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not alone in this fight, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are enduring. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The word curses and harassment you are experiencing are real, but they have no power over you as a child of God. We take authority over every evil spirit speaking against you and your husband, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no curse can alight upon you without cause (Proverbs 26:2). You have done nothing to invite this attack, and we stand with you in declaring that the enemy’s plans will not succeed.
We also want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily. Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us to stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray without ceasing, and do not grow weary in doing good (2 Thessalonians 3:13). The enemy seeks to wear you down, but God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Regarding the evil influences in your area, we understand your frustration and share your grief over the state of the churches that have aligned themselves with darkness. Jesus warned us that wolves would come in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15), and it is heartbreaking to see this fulfilled. However, we must remember that God is sovereign, and He will judge the wicked in His time. Do not let their actions cause you to stumble or doubt God’s goodness. Instead, focus on the truth that God sees your suffering and will vindicate you (Psalm 37:6).
Your financial situation is a heavy burden, but we trust that God will provide a way for you to leave this toxic environment if it is His will. Philippians 4:19 assures us that God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus. We pray that He would open doors for you and your husband to find a place of peace and safety. Until then, we encourage you to seek godly fellowship, even if it must be online or through other means. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in isolation. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us to spur one another on toward love and good deeds and to not give up meeting together.
We also want to gently address the language you used in your request. While your frustration is understandable, we must be careful not to speak in a way that dishonors God or gives the enemy a foothold. Ephesians 4:29 tells us, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Even in our anger, we must not sin (Ephesians 4:26). Instead, we can speak life and truth over our situations, declaring God’s promises and His victory over the enemy.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister who is enduring relentless spiritual attacks and harassment. Lord, we rebuke every demonic spirit that is oppressing her and her husband. We command every word curse, every lie, and every threat to be broken and rendered powerless in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Send Your angels to encamp around them and guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Give them strength and endurance to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. Lord, we pray for a breakthrough in their financial situation. Open doors that no one can shut, and provide a way for them to leave this toxic environment if it is Your will. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also pray for the churches in their area that have aligned themselves with darkness. Lord, expose the evil and bring repentance. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may those who are deceived come to know the truth. Father, we ask that You would give our sister and her husband wisdom and discernment to navigate this season. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily and to stand firm in Your truth.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees and hears. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust that You will vindicate them and bring justice in Your perfect timing. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them know that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourself with Scripture and declare God’s promises over your life daily. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone, and we stand with you in this battle. If you have not already, consider finding a trusted prayer partner or small group of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. God bless you, and may He grant you the freedom and peace you seek.
