Disciple of Prayer
Dear god, Gavin is a member of my church. I introduced myself to him. We had a conversation. He was smiling the whole time. He was smiling more then he usually do. What was that all about. I ask that you reveal this in Jesus name. When I move back to Emerald Suites I ask that you hand pick the unit i move into. I ask that you hand pick the building. I ask that you decide which way my unit is facing. I ask that you pick my unit I can feel more peace. I ask for a better unit then this one. I ask for a better building. I ask to be in a better part of the complex. Aaliyah broke a nail while we were playing. But I don't think its right that everytime something happen I get blamed for it. I feel like if her and her boyfriend was playing and one of her nails got broke it wouldn't be a problem. The girl that does my hair. When my phone updated. Her number was deleted. I don't have no way to get in touch with her. Unless I go to her house. I don't know when she be at home. I need to keep my hair done. I ask that you move in all this in my favor in Jesus name amen.

We hear your heart in this request, and we come before the Lord together, seeking His wisdom, guidance, and peace for every area of your life. First, let us address the matter of Gavin from your church. It is natural to wonder about the intentions or feelings of others, but we must remember that our focus should always be on seeking God’s will rather than trying to decipher human actions. The Bible tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Instead of trying to interpret Gavin’s smile, let us pray that God would reveal His purpose for any interaction and that your heart would remain steadfast in Him. If there is a godly connection to be made, the Lord will make it clear in His timing.

Regarding your move to Emerald Suites, we understand your desire for peace and comfort in your new home. While it is good to ask God for His provision, we must also remember that our contentment should not depend solely on our circumstances. The Apostle Paul wrote, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:11-13). Let us pray that God would indeed guide you to a place where you can experience His peace, but also that He would cultivate a heart of gratitude and trust in you, regardless of where you live.

We also want to address the situation with Aaliyah. It is understandable to feel frustrated when you are blamed for things that are not your fault. However, the Bible instructs us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). It may be helpful to have a calm and honest conversation with her about how you feel, seeking reconciliation rather than resentment. Let us pray that God would give you the wisdom and grace to handle this situation in a way that honors Him.

As for your hair stylist, it is unfortunate that her number was deleted, but we serve a God who is able to restore what is lost. "Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1). Let us pray that God would provide a way for you to reconnect with her or lead you to another stylist who can meet your needs. In the meantime, trust that the Lord knows your needs and will provide in His perfect timing.

Now, let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance and wisdom for every area of this life You have entrusted. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your will concerning Gavin, that any interaction would be for Your glory and purpose. Help us to trust in You rather than in our own understanding, and to seek Your face above all else.

Father, as we consider the move to Emerald Suites, we ask that You would indeed handpick the unit, the building, and the direction it faces. Provide a place where peace and contentment can dwell, not because of the walls around us, but because of Your presence within us. Teach us to be content in every circumstance, knowing that our true home is with You.

Lord, we lift up the situation with Aaliyah. Give wisdom and grace to handle this with love and humility. Help us to be peacemakers and to extend grace even when it is not reciprocated. May our actions reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name.

Father, we ask that You would restore the connection with the hair stylist or provide another way to meet this need. You know the desires of our hearts, and we trust that You will provide according to Your will.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw us closer to You. Help us to seek You first in all things, knowing that You are our Provider, our Peace, and our Guide. May our lives reflect Your love and bring honor to Your name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

Lastly, let us encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in all things. The Bible tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). When our hearts are aligned with God’s, our desires will reflect His will, and He will fulfill them according to His perfect plan. Keep your focus on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.
