God's will for my family

I grow up in a trouble childhood in Africa. I had my children at the age of 15 and 18. I currently live in the US have been raising my kids alone by God's grace. Recently I started the process of reuniting my sons to their father. I went to meet his parents and he met my family and we were going through the process of dowry as is customary in Africa, when he suddenly this morning he told me that he is getting married to someone else. I feel used, stupid, I don't know how to tell my sons their father doesn't want anything to do with them anymore. I keep asking God why he would bring him into our life after 16yrs, when we had healed form those wounds and only have him walk away. For now I just want to heal and stop hurting. I don't know what to even pray for. I am hurt.

I feel so bad for the pain you are going through. Please know that God understands, for He too, has been rejected by those He has loved and made plans with. Heavenly Father, please comfort Borna and her children. You have promised to be close to the broken-hearted, I ask for your loving healing presence in her life. I ask for your comfort and your peace. Please bless with woman and may you have a much better plan for her life. Help her to be forgiving and give her the words to speak to her children. In Jesus name, I pray

Please work it out that her children will be able to be reunited with their her. Restore and heal her life. Pour out your spirit upon her. Bless her life. In Jesus Name Amen

Borna, It sounds like you initiated the reunion rather than God. For this sad situation direct the blame where it belongs, with two individuals who made some mistakes in the past which led to today's consequences. And now your sons must live with those consequences. But Praise God, that does not have to be the end of the story! They and you have a heavenly Father who will never forsake them, who loves them with a perfect love, and who wants an intimate relationship with each of you. He can and will forgive past sins and give you each a new life in Christ. Heavenly Father, I ask for Borna's eyes to be opened to the how much You love her and how much You have sacrificed for her. I pray she will believe in Jesus Christ, repent of sin, and place her faith in Christ. I pray Your peace and wisdom will flow to her, and your divine comfort to her sons. May they also choose to follow You, and see their lives take on new meaning and purpose. Provide for their needs as they seek Your face and to do Your will. Bring their biological father to repentance as well. May he choose to follow Christ and to do what is honorable in Your sight, by caring for his children. IN Jesus' name I ask this, Amen.

Thank you for praying with me. Mat: 18:19. I believe in the blood of Jesus. I know the lord is not finished with me. Christine, thanks for your feedback. I have repented to God and I will fall at his feet daily begging for mercy coz I know for sure that me and my sons made it this far by his grace. I did not choose to be married off at 14. I will continue to place myself in the Potter's hand so that he can continue molding me. The bible says it is not over until the lord says it is. He is faith and just to forgive all my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. What he started in me ,he will bring unto complishion. Jesus came for the broken, filthy , sinful people like me.

Lord, please help Borna to continue to raise her children. Bless her for trying to resolve these matters with her children and their father. Guide her in what you would have her to do next and provide support for her in this time when she has been hurt. In Jesus Name, Amen.
