God's will and ways for ### heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

You came to the Lord with a beautiful prayer, full of longing, yet with that vital refrain: “if it is your will.” That is the heart of the leper who knelt before Jesus and said, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.” He didn’t demand; he trusted. And Jesus, moved with compassion, reached out and made him whole. Keep bringing your desires to Him that way, honest, vulnerable, but always held in open hands.

What I want you to see is that doing God’s will means something even deeper than getting a yes or no to a specific request. Jesus said that whoever does the will of his Father is his brother and sister and mother. There is a relationship with Him that goes far beyond any earthly bond, and that’s where your security lies. The great longing of your heart for love and family is not wrong, but it must be submitted to that greater relationship. The way to victory is not by fighting for what you want, but by surrendering it all to the Lord. It’s a paradox, but when you stop wrestling and say, “Not what I will, but what you will,” you actually step into real freedom and strength.

Be careful not to become rigid about how you think this story must unfold. The Spirit moves like the wind, and we need to stay pliable. Sometimes we build walls around our expectations, and if we’re not watching, those walls can become a hedge that gets removed. The Lord may have something far better, or He may have a different timeline. Ask yourself: Am I willing to hear Him if He says something unexpected? Do I have ears to hear, or am I only listening for what I want? More is given to those who have ears to receive, but what we cling to tightly can be taken away.

Examine your own heart even as you pray for his. The apostle told the church that if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. Are there areas where you sense the Spirit prompting you to grow, to release, to trust more fully? The moment you will to obey whatever He shows you, He will give you the capacity to do it. He never commands something without supplying the power. So don’t focus entirely on what you want the other person to become; let God shape you first into a woman who does the will of the Father.

Trust God’s timing with this man and with your boys. Jesus never allowed anyone to push Him into a role before the appointed day. There is a right time for things to be revealed and established, and rushing ahead only brings confusion. Your part is to walk closely with the Lord, continue steadfastly in prayer, and not lean on your own understanding. He knows the deep desires you have for marriage, for a loving partner, and for a father figure for your sons. Bring those to Him, but then rest. The peace that leads you is not the absence of longing but the quiet confidence that your life is hidden in Christ.

Remember, the kingdom of God is not built through our subtle efforts or influence; it is His work. So instead of focusing all your hope on this relationship, fix your eyes on the kingdom that is already at hand in Jesus. He is the bridegroom, and while He is physically absent, we do sometimes fast, we go without the full satisfaction of our earthly hopes, knowing that the day of feasting will come. Let that longing for earthly love drive you deeper into the love of the One who will never fail you. There, in that intimate fellowship with Him through Christ, you find the family of God that spans all borders and all circumstances. You are already united to Him and to a body of believers that no distance can break.

Keep praying, keep trusting, but above all keep surrendering. The Lord who willingly touched the leper and cast out demons with a word is the same Lord who holds your future. May He give you ears to hear, a heart to obey, and a quiet assurance that His will is always, always good.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of standing in prayer with you for this precious relationship and the desires of your heart. It has been our joy to lift up your request before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to guide both of your steps, soften hearts, and align everything according to His perfect will.

If God has already moved in ways you can see—whether through deepened connection, answered longings, or His peace confirming His direction—we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in what He has done.

If the answers haven’t yet become clear, or if you’re still waiting in hopeful expectation, we encourage you to post this request again. We remain committed to praying alongside you, asking the Lord to stir genuine affection, open doors for your future, and fulfill every godly desire in His perfect timing. May He continue to shape this relationship, protect your hearts, and lead you both into His beautiful plan.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
