God's will and ways for ### heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord with compassion and reverence. Your prayer reflects a deep desire for a godly union, and we join you in seeking the Father’s perfect will for your life and the life of ###. First, we want to affirm the importance of surrendering every relationship to God, as you have done, this is the foundation of wisdom and peace. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). The Lord delights in guiding those who seek His direction above their own desires.

However, we must gently address a few areas where your prayer could be refined to align more fully with Scripture. While your request for romance and a deep connection is natural, we encourage you to focus first on whether this relationship honors God’s design for marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, rooted in Christ. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). Marriage is not merely about emotional fulfillment but about reflecting Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We urge you to prayerfully consider whether ### shares your faith in Jesus Christ, for "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14). A godly marriage must be built on a shared foundation in Christ, not just mutual affection.

Your prayer also includes a desire for ### to declare his love for you openly. While this is understandable, we must remember that love is not proven by words alone but by actions that align with God’s Word. "Let us not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth" (1 John 3:18). True love is patient, kind, and selfless (1 Corinthians 13:4-7), and it seeks the other’s spiritual well-being above all. We encourage you to pray for ### to grow in godliness, not just in affection for you. Ask the Lord to shape his heart to love you as Christ loves the Church, sacrificially, faithfully, and with a commitment to holiness.

We also notice your emphasis on ### becoming a provider and stepfather to your boys. While these are noble desires, we must caution against placing expectations on ### that could lead to idolatry of the relationship itself. Our ultimate provider is God: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Trust the Lord to meet your needs and those of your children, whether through ### or through other means. Pray for ### to grow in responsibility and godly leadership, but do not make these qualities the measure of his worth or your hope.

Regarding your desire to join ### in ###, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above geographical or relational outcomes. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). If this relationship is God’s plan, He will make a way. If not, He has something even better in store. Trust His timing and His sovereignty over your future.

Finally, we must address the absence of repentance and holiness in your prayer. While you mention Jesus’ name, we encourage you to examine your own heart first. Are there areas where you need to surrender to God’s will, even if it means letting go of this relationship? "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). A godly relationship begins with two people who are individually pursuing holiness and submission to Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You, asking that You would align it with Your perfect plan. If this union is Your design, we pray that You would grow ### and this sister in Christ in their love for You and for one another. Shape their hearts to reflect Your love, selfless, pure, and steadfast. Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas where this relationship does not honor You, and give them the courage to surrender those to Your will.

Lord, we pray for ###, that You would draw him closer to You. Stir in his heart a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in Your ways. If it is Your will for him to be a husband and stepfather, prepare him now to lead with wisdom, humility, and love. Protect both of their hearts from idolatry, impatience, or unrealistic expectations. Let them seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Father, we ask that You would guard their emotions and guide their steps. If this relationship is not Your plan, give them the strength to accept Your will and the faith to believe that You have something better in store. Help them to wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Fill them with Your peace as they seek Your face.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things new. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will through prayer and Scripture, and to surround yourself with godly counsel. If this relationship is meant to be, it will unfold under God’s guidance and blessing. If not, trust that He is leading you toward something even greater. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path.

We’re sitting with you in this, praying over a new possibility is a vulnerable, hopeful place to be, and it’s brave to bring it to God like you have. He does see the desires you’ve laid out, and he cares deeply about you and your boys.

What stands out to us is your heart for God’s will above all else. That’s the anchor. When our desires feel urgent, it helps to remember that real love doesn’t ride on a single spark or a well-timed visit, it grows over time as two people who are both following Christ learn to serve and sacrifice for each other. So let that free you a bit. Your worth isn’t riding on whether this man sees it today; it’s already secure in Christ. And because it’s secure, you can ask God to shape you into a woman who is whole and steady, ready for whatever he brings, including a relationship that lasts and blesses your boys.

We’d gently encourage you to invite a wise, trusted friend (maybe an older woman from your church) to walk with you in this. Sometimes we need a second set of eyes to help us discern between a good impulse and God’s genuine direction, and to pray for the things we can’t yet see. Keep praying, but also stay grounded in what God’s Word already shows us about a man worth marrying: kindness, faithfulness, a provider’s heart that mirrors Jesus.

Father, we lift up our sister and her boys to you. You know the ache for a partner and a father figure. Guard her heart from rushing ahead of your timing. Give her clarity, not just a spark, but a deep, steady peace about this man, if he is from you. And if he is not, give her the courage to let go and the patience to wait. Protect her boys in all of this. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The earnestness of your petition is plain, yet pause and consider whether you have not in some measure set your own will above the will of the Most High. You lay before the Lord a detailed map of how this affection should proceed, a spark to be kindled, a declaration of love to be uttered, a visit, a marriage, a united home in a distant land. But what is man that he should appoint the way of the Almighty? The new birth itself, and every sanctifying work, is the fruit of God's will, not man's. And shall a matter of earthly affection escape the same sovereign rule? You ask, and rightly, that God’s will and ways be done above all else, but then your prayer proceeds to dictate precisely how that will must look. Is this not like the merchant who says, “I will go, I will buy, I will sell, and get gain,” all the while forgetting that he cannot command tomorrow? Counting upon the future in such a manner is folly, for you know not what a day may bring forth.

The heart of this man is not yours to turn; it is the Lord’s alone to change. You ask that God stir a romance within him, but who can write upon the fleshy tablets of a human soul but the Spirit of the living God? The covenant promise is, “I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts.” This is not a work that your anxiety can force, nor your tears compel. If this relationship is of God, He will, in His own time and way, incline the man’s will and bind your hearts together in righteousness, judgment, lovingkindness, and mercies. But if it is not of God, all your pleading for a specific outcome is but striving against the Almighty’s good pleasure. He will have His own choice, and none can stay His hand.

You speak of deep desires for a provider, a stepfather, a partner. These are good gifts, but remember that God’s heart is the source of all blessing, and He often gives according to His own infinite wisdom, not our shriveled imaginations. Instead of insisting that this particular man be shaped to fit your mold, cast yourself upon the Lord’s great heart. Say, “If the Lord wills, I shall receive a companion; if not, He Himself will be my portion.” The affections that you so crave in another must first be perfected in your own soul toward God. Has He written His law upon your heart so that you delight in Him supremely? If so, you may trust that He who gave His own Son for you will not withhold any good thing. But if you set your affection on this outcome as an idol, the Lord may in mercy deny it, that you may learn to love Him alone.

Examine your prayer: you ask God to make this man see your value and view you as a perfect fit. Yet what have we deserved? The marriage between Christ and His church was not born of merit but of His free, unmerited love. If God brings you into an earthly union, it will not be because you are worthy, but because He is gracious. Humble yourself, then, beneath His mighty hand. Pray rather that your own will be sweetly yielded, that you may say in all things, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” If this cup is meant to pass to you, the Lord will allure, and bring into the wilderness, and speak to the heart of that man; but you cannot command the Spirit to move at your bidding.

I do not dismiss your longings as sinful, for the desire for a godly marriage is honorable. But I urge you to loosen your grip upon the form of the answer. The Lord may intend a far better portion for you than you have conceived, or He may intend to glorify Himself by drawing you nearer without this earthly tie. Rest in the promise: “I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people.” When you can leave the matter there, your heart shall be kept in perfect peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You commit this new relationship into God's hands, asking that His will and ways be done above all else. That is a good and right prayer. Yet consider well what His will truly is. It is not merely that a man should have a heart of a provider, kind and loving to you and your boys, but that both of you should become children of God through a life of virtue. For He said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." This is how we become sons of God: by being free from all passions, showing gentleness to those who wrong us, and ordering our lives not by worldly desires but by His commands.

You lay before Him desires for marriage, a petition, a united family. These are not in themselves evil, for marriage is honorable. But grasp firmly that marriage does not make you holy. It preserves the holiness that comes from faith by keeping you from the defilement of fornication, but it does not itself confer holiness. If you marry, it must be in the Lord, with a husband who shares your zeal for godliness, for the relationship that is worthy of honor is not the natural bond of husband and wife but the kinship of character in Christ. Abraham's true children are not those of his blood but those who walk in his faith. So too you must seek a husband who is your brother in spirit, not merely one who stirs a romance in his heart.

You pray that he see your value and view you as a perfect fit. But what is true value before God? It is a life of good works, chaste and orderly living, and raising your children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Devote yourself to this, and your reward will be great; for a mother who brings up godly children lays a foundation that will not be forgotten. Let not your heart be fixed on a visit from him or on declarations of love. Use this time to instruct your boys in the fear of God, for youth is wild and needs many governors. If you raise them well, you lay up treasure in heaven.

Do not rest your hopes on this man as the provider of your earthly needs. God is your Provider. Marriage indeed brings many cares, but if you have a husband, live as though you had none, not rejoicing over him as a possession but using the world as not abusing it. Then, whether married or single, you will attend upon the Lord without distraction.

Above all, beware the snare of letting your desires turn into an idol. The Jews sought salvation because they were Abraham's seed, but Christ told them that lineage avails nothing apart from the truth. So too, a husband and stepfather will avail nothing for your soul if your heart rests in him rather than in God. Seek first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added. Let your prayer be ever: "Thy will be done," not only with your lips but with a heart wholly submitted, ready to accept whatever He appoints. For He who spared not His own Son will with Him freely give you all things that are for your good. Peace and holiness, then, are your portion; follow after these with all men, and entrust the rest into His perfect hands.

Your prayer is full of longing, and I can hear how deeply you desire this relationship to flourish. But I need to gently ask you something that your request never mentions: where does this man stand with Jesus Christ? You are asking God to shape him into a kind, providing man and a loving stepdad, yet you never speak of his faith or his love for the Lord. That silence troubles me. Before you pour out hopes of marriage and a future together, you must face the most essential question. Is he a Christian? If he does not belong to Christ, no romance God might stir will ever make the relationship holy or safe.

Scripture warns us plainly not to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. That command is not limited to marriage; it applies to any union that binds your life to someone who does not share your faith. When you tether your heart to a man who is not walking with Jesus, you enter an unequal place from the start. You will always be pulling in different directions, no matter how strong the spark feels. A genuine, lasting love cannot be built on one-sided spiritual longing.

I also notice your prayer focuses almost entirely on what you want God to do in him: touch his heart, stir his emotions, make him see your value. But love of the truest kind cannot be bought, begged, or manufactured. If a man would give all his substance for love, it would be utterly contemptible beside the real thing. True love is a fire many waters cannot quench, but it flows from a heart already aflame with love for God. You cannot pray a spark into someone that only the Holy Spirit ignites through saving faith.

Your first and greatest need is not a man’s affection, but a wholehearted love for the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Until your relationship with Him is the supreme delight of your life, no human relationship can be set right. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God completely, and the second, which flows from it, is to love your neighbor as yourself. But you cannot love anyone rightly until you love God supremely. I would encourage you to examine whether this desire, however natural, has begun to edge out that first love.

Please do not hear me as unkind. I simply want to spare you from a yoke that will chafe and a union that might become the closest thing to heartbreak if Christ is not at the center. If this man truly knows the Lord, then center your prayers not on romance and visas, but on both of you growing in the knowledge of His unquenchable love, a love already given, never earned. If he does not know Jesus, the most loving thing you can do is to step back and pray for his salvation from a distance, refusing to build a life on uneven ground. God’s will and ways are always better than our best dreams. Trust His timing, but trust His boundaries even more. May you find your deepest joy in His presence this week, and may His Spirit give you clarity about where your heart truly rests.

We are so grateful you entrusted this tender, hope-filled prayer to us. It has been our joy to stand with you these past days, lifting every word before our Father—your gratitude for the connection He opened, your surrender of this new relationship into His hands, and your longing for His will to unfold in both hearts.

We have prayed specifically that His Spirit would move in #####’s heart, stirring a deep and genuine love if it aligns with His perfect plan. We asked the Lord to soften his mind to see your value, to feel the connection you described, and to embrace the future you’ve entrusted to Him. We also lifted your desire for ##### to grow into the kind of man—a provider, a loving partner, and a stepdad—who reflects Christ’s love in every way. And we have petitioned the Lord to pave the way for a visit, knowing that even the smallest steps forward are guided by His hand.

Most of all, we have prayed for peace to guard your heart as you wait, trusting in His timing and His plan for your family. If the Lord has already begun to answer—if you’ve seen glimpses of His work in #####’s heart or in the circumstances around you—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us celebrate His faithfulness with you!

If the answers haven’t yet become clear, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue standing with you in prayer. The Lord hears every cry of our hearts, and we are committed to interceding until His will is fully revealed.

May He bless you with patience, joy, and unwavering trust as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
