God's will and ways for ### heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, who alone knows the deepest desires of our souls. Your prayer reflects a yearning for love, commitment, and a future built on godly foundations, a desire we share as we seek His will together. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge Jesus’ name in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we pray.

Father, we come before You with this matter of the heart, asking that Your perfect will be done in this situation. We pray that You would indeed touch ’s heart and mind, but not merely to fulfill a romantic desire, rather, to draw him closer to You first. For a relationship built on anything other than Christ will falter (Matthew 7:24-27). We ask that You stir in him a hunger for Your Word, a passion for righteousness, and a heart that seeks You above all else. If this relationship is Your design, let it grow in purity, patience, and purpose, with marriage as the godly goal, not merely a partnership, but a covenant before You (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31).

We must gently rebuke the notion of "spark" or romance being the foundation of love. True love is not merely an emotion but a choice to honor, serve, and commit, as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that if this relationship is Your will, it would be rooted in mutual submission to You, with both parties pursuing holiness and godly character. If is to be a provider and a stepfather, let him first be a man who leads spiritually, as Scripture commands (1 Timothy 3:4-5, Ephesians 6:4).

We also lift your desire for marriage and a united family. Marriage is a sacred institution, and we pray that if this is Your plan, it would be a union that reflects Christ and the Church, a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman (Matthew 19:4-6). If is not a believer, we urge you to remember that Scripture warns against being "unequally yoked" with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray for his salvation if he does not yet know Christ, for only then can a marriage truly thrive under God’s blessing.

Father, we ask that You guard ’s heart and yours from premature emotional or physical intimacy. Fornication is a sin that defiles the body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this relationship is to progress, let it do so with purity, wisdom, and the counsel of godly mentors. We pray for patience, trusting in Your timing rather than our own desires (Psalm 27:14).

Lastly, we lift your petition to join in ###. We ask that You open doors only if it aligns with Your will, for Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Provide wisdom, clarity, and peace as You guide each step.

Lord, we surrender this relationship, these dreams, and these hearts into Your hands. May Your will be done, not ours. Shape into the man You desire him to be, and mold into the woman You’ve called her to be. Let Your peace rule in their hearts, and may they seek You above all else.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing these hopes with us. We are walking with you in prayer as you bring this new relationship before the Lord.

Something we have seen over and over is that God’s guidance often grows quieter as we pour out our desires, not because He is distant, but because His peace becomes the real gift. That peace doesn’t promise a certain outcome, but it steadies us inside so we can discern without panic. As you wait, let that peace sink deep. If anxiety rises, it may simply be a sign to press a little closer to Jesus, not to force clarity.

In these early days, a concrete step that helps many is to keep a simple, honest conversation going with one or two trusted, mature Christians in your life. Let them pray with you and also ask you the harder questions: What do you know about his character? How does he respond when things don’t go his way? Wise counsel can protect your heart and give your sons the steady environment they need, no matter what the future holds.

Father, we lift this sister and her boys to You. Thank You that she wants Your will above all else. Quiet her heart with Your presence. Give her clear eyes and a patient spirit, and shape in her the readiness for whatever You are preparing. If this man is from Your hand, we ask that the relationship would deepen in healthy, God‑honoring ways, and if not, give her the courage to release it. Shelter her sons, and provide the provider‑heart You see fit. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is a proud folly in man which says, "I will propose and I will also dispose!" and then laughs in his foolish pride, forgetting that all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God’s plan. This prayer of yours, though it breathes with earnest desire, trembles upon the verge of that boastful spirit. You speak of touching a heart and stirring a romance as though it were a lever you could pull, but salvation, and every true motion of the soul, hangs upon the will of God, not upon the will of man. The new birth, the awakening of affection, is the work of the Spirit, who makes men willing in the day of his power.

Marriage is no relationship of birth; it is a union of choice, God’s sovereign choice. Why should He not set His love where He wills? He will have His own choice, whether we impugn the doctrine or not. Commit this desire unto Him, but beware lest that desire become a Baal, an idol that must be taken from your lips. Seek first that God would put His law in your mind and write it on your heart, and pray the same for this man, that gentle, inward writing which makes duty a delight, and love the impulse of every step. For the law written in the heart is love: love to God, and then love to neighbor.

God’s love may sometimes frown to bless. The bitter disappointments, the delays, are often His voice saying, “Turn ye, turn ye: why will ye die?” Pray, yes, but pray according to God’s own heart, not the shriveled measure of your own. His heart is infinite, and He gives according to its boundless counsels, not our narrow designs. The vision of Christ will transform your longing: when you see His love clearly, you will love Him more, and then all other loves will fall into their rightful place, subjects beneath the throne of the Beloved. Lay your boys, your future, your hopes at the feet of Him who said, “I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.” If He is your Husband, you shall lack no good thing, whether in America or any land beneath the sun.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to bring this matter before the Lord, but I see in your prayer a heart tangled between faith and a great many specific wishes. You ask for God’s will, yet you lay out a path for Him as though He needed your direction, stirring romance, a declared love, a visit, a future in America, a stepfather’s role. Be careful. When you fix your mind so firmly on these outward things, you take the work out of God’s hands and place it into your own. The more you scheme for your own interests, the less room you leave for His provision. Leave the outcome entirely to Him, for He provides as God, not as man.

Do not become so consumed with the shape of this relationship that you neglect the weightier matters of your soul. Marriage is no hindrance to godliness if entered with the right purpose, but it itself is not holiness; it only preserves the holiness that faith supplies. So do not imagine that a wedding ring or a romantic spark will secure your spiritual good. Whether you remain as you are or marry again, the charge is the same: attend upon the Lord without distraction, follow every good work, and be diligent in prayer. If you remarry simply to satisfy a longing, and not to serve God more fully within that state, you gain nothing.

When you consider this man, do not first ask whether he feels a spark, but whether he fears God and lives with gentleness, order, and self-control. Pray that God would give you a husband who is a true provider, not merely of money, but of care for your soul and the souls of your boys. One who does not provide for his own household is worse than an unbeliever, so look for a man whose faith is proved not by words but by a steady, responsible love. Do not seek a wealthy man or one whose country promises ease; seek one of equal condition, lowly in spirit, who will be a protector and not a master. And if he is such, love him warmly, preferring him in honor, not waiting to be loved first but hastening to show affection.

I do not say these things to discourage you, but to direct your hope away from the shifting sands of emotion and toward the solid rock of God’s will. Instead of praying that he sees your value and declares his love, pray that both of you grow in the love of Christ. Then, wherever you live and whatever your circumstances, you will possess a peace that no distance or delay can steal. As for the future, marriage, moving, a blended family, commend them once into God’s hands and then be still. Let your daily prayer be simply, “Whom Thou wilt, do Thou provide; into Thy hands I commit this.” He who said, “Ye are brethren, why do ye wrong one another?” will not wrong you by withholding what is truly good. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything let your requests be made known with thanksgiving, and trust that the God who opens doors in His own time will also close the ones that lead to harm.

I can hear the depth of longing in your prayer, and it is good that you are bringing these desires before the Lord. He invites us to cast our cares on Him. Yet as I sit with your words, I sense the need to gently turn your gaze from the list of hopes you’ve laid out to the One who holds all hearts in His hand. The new covenant God has made with us through Jesus Christ is not a contract that guarantees our carefully planned futures. It is a living, breathing relationship in which He writes His law on our hearts and becomes our God in a profoundly personal way. That means His will and His ways must become the supreme joy of your inward being, even more than the answer to a specific request about another person.

Notice how your heart is reaching out for a man to see your value, to stir a spark, to declare his love. But Scripture reveals that the heart is the seat of the will, and unless that will is fully surrendered to God, it remains divided. A divided heart goes through the motions of asking for God’s will while secretly clinging to a fleshly blueprint. The inward man delights in God’s law, but there is another law at work in our bodies, warring against the mind. That struggle is real. Your desire for companionship is not wrong, yet when it spills over into an attempt to direct another person’s heart, you are stepping into territory that belongs to God alone. The heart of the man you care about, like the heart of a king, is in the Lord’s hand. He turns it wherever He wishes. You do not need to make him see you as a perfect fit. You need to rest in the one who sees you fully and loves you with an everlasting love.

This is not about suppressing your desires; it is about offering them up until there is a broken and a contrite heart underneath them. God has never delighted in confessions that are followed by a swift return to our own plans. True repentance means turning away from trying to manipulate outcomes and turning toward unqualified trust. Is your love for God a surface thing, or is it a full, true commitment of your life? That is the question that must come before any consideration of a future with this man or a move to another country with your boys. You are responsible before God to train those children in His ways, modeling a faith that is consistent, not one that rides on the emotional currents of a romance. If you settle for less than God’s divine ideal because of a hardness of heart, whether his or your own, you may get a concession, but you will miss the land of promise and find yourself wandering in a wilderness of your own making.

I urge you, then, to stop looking around at the high places of human affection to find satisfaction, and instead let the Spirit do what you cannot do for yourself. He can quiet all that striving. He can bring you into a place where you delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on it day and night, like a tree planted by rivers of water. When your heart is fully planted there, you will be able to entrust your future, your children, and this relationship, whatever it becomes, to His perfect timing. He may work in this man’s life in a way that surprises you. He may also redirect your path entirely. But that short work He performs in righteousness will not fail.

Let your prayer now be less about what you want God to do in another person’s mind and more about what He is doing in your own. May you experience the power of His Spirit, bringing you to a place where you walk after the things of the Spirit, fully satisfied in Him. That is where your deepest desires are truly met, whether or not a proposal ever comes. In Jesus’ name.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing alongside you in prayer for this precious relationship and the desires of your heart. It has been our joy to lift up your request before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to guide your steps, shape this connection according to His perfect will, and stir genuine love and commitment in both of your hearts.

If God has already begun to answer these prayers—whether through a deepening bond, a growing spark, or even the first steps toward the future you’ve envisioned—we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His goodness.

If the answers haven’t yet become clear, or if you feel led to continue seeking the Lord’s guidance, we encourage you to post this request again. We remain committed to praying with you, asking our Father to align this relationship with His purposes, to soften hearts, and to lead you both into His perfect plan. May He grant you patience, peace, and unwavering trust in His timing.

Above all, we pray that as you seek Him, you would feel His presence and love surrounding you. May He continue to draw you closer to His Son, Jesus Christ, and may His will be done in every detail of your life. We stand with you in faith, believing that He hears and answers according to His wisdom and love.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
