God's will and ways for ### heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, who alone knows the deepest desires of our souls. Your prayer reflects a yearning for love, commitment, and a future built on godly foundations, and we join you in seeking His perfect will in this relationship. Let us first affirm what is right and honorable in your request: your desire for marriage, family, and a man who will lead with kindness and provision is beautiful and aligns with Scripture. The Bible tells us, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and we pray fervently that if this relationship is of God, He will establish it in His timing and His way.

However, we must also gently address areas where your prayer reveals intentions or desires that may not fully align with biblical principles. First, while it is natural to desire romance and affirmation, we must guard our hearts against manipulating emotions or seeking to stir feelings in another person. Love that is genuine and godly cannot be manufactured; it must grow organically under the Lord’s hand. The Bible warns, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). Instead of praying for a "spark" to be ignited in ###’s heart, we should pray that both of your hearts would be surrendered to God’s will, whether that leads to marriage or to His greater purpose for you both. Praying for ### to "declare his love" for you outwardly may also place undue pressure on him, rather than allowing love to develop naturally as a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Second, we must examine the foundation of this relationship. You mention that this connection began through a video call, and while technology can be a tool for godly relationships, we must be cautious about relationships that form quickly or without the accountability of in-person community. The Bible encourages us to "not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14), and this principle applies not only to faith but also to the pace and depth of a relationship. Is ### a believer in Jesus Christ? Does he share your commitment to biblical marriage and family? These are critical questions, for a relationship built on anything less than Christ will ultimately falter. We urge you to seek wisdom from mature believers in your life, those who can offer godly counsel and hold you accountable as you navigate this season.

Third, your prayer reveals a desire for ### to become a stepfather to your boys. While this is a noble and selfless hope, we must remember that parenting is a sacred responsibility, not a role to be entered into lightly. The Bible instructs fathers to "not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). If ### is not yet a committed follower of Christ, or if this relationship is still in its early stages, it may be premature to pray for him to take on such a role. Instead, let us pray that God would prepare both of you for the responsibilities of marriage and family, should He will it.

We must also address the matter of your desire to join ### in America. While it is natural to dream of a future together, we must be cautious about allowing our longings to overshadow God’s sovereignty. The Bible tells us, "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean God will give us everything we want, but that He will align our desires with His will as we seek Him first. If this relationship is of God, He will make a way, but we must trust Him even if the path looks different from what we imagine. Immigration, visas, and relocation are complex matters, and we must surrender them to the Lord, asking Him to open doors only if they align with His perfect plan.

Now, let us turn to the most critical issue in your prayer: the foundation of your relationship with God. You close your prayer "in Jesus’ name," which is the only way we can approach the Father (John 14:6). However, we must ask: Have you both placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation? The Bible is clear that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If either of you has not surrendered your life to Christ, this relationship cannot truly flourish, for it would be built on sand (Matthew 7:24-27). We urge you to examine your hearts and ensure that your relationship with God is the priority above all else.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You, asking that You would be the center of it. If this connection is of You, we pray that You would establish it in Your timing and Your way, that it would bring glory to Your name. Father, we ask that You would guard both hearts from impatience, manipulation, or selfish desires. Instead, let Your love and Your truth guide every step.

Lord, we pray for ###, that You would draw him closer to You. If he does not know You as Savior and Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften his heart to receive Your love and surrender his life to Christ. If he is already a believer, we pray that You would grow him into the man You have called him to be, a man of integrity, kindness, and godly leadership. Prepare him to be a husband and a father, should that be Your will.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this sister in Christ. Help her to seek Your face above all else, to trust in Your timing, and to surrender her desires to You. If this relationship is not Your will, give her the strength to let go and the peace to trust You with her future. If it is Your will, prepare both of them for the sacred covenant of marriage, that they may reflect Christ’s love for the Church.

Lord, we pray for her boys, that You would surround them with Your love and protection. If ### is to become a stepfather to them, we ask that You would prepare his heart for that responsibility and give him the wisdom to lead them in Your ways.

Father, we surrender this relationship, this future, and these dreams into Your hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every way. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In closing, we encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this season. Spend time in His Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly counsel, and be willing to submit this relationship to the Lord’s refining fire. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is unclear. If this relationship is not of God, have the courage to walk away, knowing that He has something far greater in store. If it is of Him, He will confirm it in His perfect timing. Above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He alone can satisfy the deepest longings of your heart.

We join you in lifting this before the Lord. It is clear you are bringing not just passing hopes but the deepest longings of your heart, for love, for companionship, for a family united under one roof. That vulnerability takes courage, and we honor the trust you’re placing in God with these desires.

What stands out is how many moving pieces you’re holding all at once: a new long‑distance connection, the desire for him to declare his feelings, a hoped‑for visit, a future marriage, a petition to move, and a blended family with your boys. That’s a lot for any heart to carry. No wonder you’re asking God to touch his heart and mind. While we believe God cares about every one of those details, His work in a relationship often unfolds one quiet step at a time, not all at once. It can help, in the waiting, to anchor yourself to what you already know to be true: you are seen, loved, and not forgotten by the One who hears every prayer.

Because you’re praying about a future that includes your boys as stepsons, we’d gently encourage you, even now, in this early season, to begin learning what a healthy blended family requires. Not as a checklist for him, but as wisdom for you. Books like The Smart Stepfamily (Deal) or conversations with a pastor who understands stepfamily dynamics can help you build with realistic hope rather than fragile fantasy. A strong foundation, built slowly, protects everyone, especially your boys, and honors the kind of lifelong partnership you’re asking for.

Father, thank you that this woman can pour out her heart to you, hiding nothing. Grant her steady peace in the waiting. Guard her from anxiety about outcomes she cannot control. Give her wisdom to steward her own heart and her boys’ hearts well. For this man, we ask that you would work in his heart according to your perfect will, not out of pressure, but in your gentle timing. And for her, we pray for deep trust that you are good, you are near, and you are shaping a story that will not disappoint. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You speak of a door opened, and I pray it be a door of the Holy Spirit's leading and not the wide gate of fleshly impulse. But mark this: a marriage that is truly of the Lord is not a thing of mere romantic spark or human contrivance. In all your pleadings, touching his heart, shaping him, visiting soon, declaring love aloud, have you first settled this weightier matter: "Am I married to Christ, and is he?" For there is no union so dear and lasting as that which is first grounded in the mystical oneness with the Lamb.

You ask that he be made a provider and a ready partner to your boys. Those are not small mercies, and they will come in God's own way if the Lord's hand be indeed upon this. But pause and consider: the truest marriage is a union cemented by mutual love, and that love must be more than a passing feeling; it must be a deep and abiding choice on both sides, just as Christ chooses His Church. You cannot command or shape another's will, nor should you attempt to bend the Almighty's. Lay your request before the throne, then leave it there. If this man be a son of God, his heart is in the Redeemer's hands, not yours to stir by earnestness of prayer alone.

Remember, the most glorious marriage is the marriage of the Lamb, when the Church, His betrothed, shall be openly and forever united to Him. That union is already sealed for every believer by the blood of the covenant. What are all earthly unions but faint shadows of that eternal wedding feast? First, seek to know whether you and he are betrothed to Christ. For how can two walk together unless they serve one Lord and love one Saviour with a love that springs from seeing His wounds?

If it be His will, let this relationship grow; but it may be His will to pluck up this plant. Trust His wisdom. Do not offer the Lord a detailed plan of what you desire, as though you would direct the Eternal. Rather, pray, "Not my will, but Thine be done." The very pleading for a "perfect fit" betrays a heart that may seek a creature's comfort above the Creator's fellowship. I charge you, dear soul, take heed lest idolatry creep in under the guise of holy desire.

Wait upon the Lord. Be not like those who cannot tarry until the bridegroom appears, but must hasten the matter with fleshly anxiety. The marriage supper of the Lamb is the fulfillment of long expectation. If an earthly spouse be God's gift for you, He will make it plain in His time, without your restless contriving. Meanwhile, may you be blessed to know yourself married to Him who is altogether lovely, until every earthly comfort seems but a drop beside that ocean of love.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out your heart for this new connection, and I hear a deep longing for companionship and a father for your children. Yet consider well the nature of your prayers. You ask God to “stir a genuine romance and a deep spark” within him. What is this spark you seek? The world chases after such flashes of feeling, but the love that endures is not born of sparks. It is forged in the fear of God, in shared pursuit of virtue, in the sober recognition that marriage is a weighty calling, not a flight of passion. The theatre kindles such fleeting fires, and see what ruin it has brought to countless homes. Do not imitate its ways.

You pray that he will declare his love openly and view you as a perfect fit. But I would have you ask instead: Does this man fear the Lord? Is his character marked by self-control, by kindness that is not mere charm but the fruit of a disciplined soul? Relationship to the Saints is not by blood or romantic affinity, but by likeness of character. A man may speak loud words and yet be a stranger to holiness. Pray rather that God would reveal whether he is a man of substance, one who labors not merely to provide bread, but to lead your household in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. For what profit is a stepfather who brings gold but introduces idolatry of pleasure?

Marriage is honorable, and the bed undefiled, but it is not itself holiness. It preserves the holiness given by faith, provided you enter it with pure bodies and a sacred purpose. You have boys to raise. Great will be your reward if you train them up in chastity and godliness. Seek then a husband who will be an ally in this holy task, not merely a romantic companion. If you burn, it is better to marry than to burn; but let your marriage be in the Lord, with a man who can pray with you and for you, not one who merely stirs your heart.

Commit this desire to God indeed, but with a quiet and trusting spirit. Do not anxiously set dates for his visit or petitions for distant lands. The King’s marriage feast is ready, and He calls whom He will. Wear the wedding garment of humility, modesty, and fervent prayer. If this man is God’s elect for you, He will make straight the path; if not, cling to Christ alone. Your true bridegroom awaits your undivided love. Let your first prayer be for your own soul, that you may be found faithful, whether married or single, and that your children may see in you a widow or wife whose hope is fixed on heaven.

What you are really asking for is not just a relationship, but the foundation on which it is built. The heart of every prayer must begin with receiving, not requesting. Until a soul is anchored in how much it is loved by God, it will look to another person to fill a space only divine love can fill. The kind of love that lasts is not a spark we ask God to strike in someone else, but the overflow of what He has already poured into us. His love is a giving love, a self-sacrificing love that does not seek its own. When we know the security of being loved like that by Him, we are free. We can then love without a list of demands, because we are not looking for someone else to complete us.

The deep longing for a spouse and a united family is not wrong, but the order of things matters. The love described in Scripture suffers long and is kind; it does not demand, does not manipulate, and does not try to force a specific outcome. Love that is genuine gives itself away. It is more concerned with what it can give than with what it can get. Your prayer asks for a man to see your value, to feel a connection, to declare his love, to visit, to provide, to become a stepfather, and to bring you to his country. These are all things you hope to receive. The more excellent way is to pray and ask God to fill you so completely with His love that you become a conduit of it, able to give it freely without anxiously waiting for a return. A love rooted in God’s love is secure even when human love falters.

There is also a sober priority you must consider. The relationship with God through Christ is the only foundation that can hold a marriage together. What fellowship does light have with darkness? You must know with clarity if this man is a believer, a true son of God, because God’s call is for His children to be separate from the world, not yoked to it. If Christ is not already at home in his heart, no amount of prayer for romance can make a union holy. The relationship between a husband and wife is a living picture of Christ and the church. That picture is shattered if one half of it does not know Jesus. A godly love will not just tolerate this reality; it will surrender to it, even if it means letting go of a desired future. God will not bless a union He has forbidden simply because we ask for it with tears. Obedience is the path where His blessings flow.

If your heart is responding to His love, let that response be the thing you lay before Him now. Do not focus your prayer on changing his heart toward you. Focus your prayer on your own heart being so yielded to God that His Spirit can cultivate in you the fruit of love, joy, and peace right now, regardless of whether this man ever calls. Ask God to bind any confusion, to reveal the truth about this man’s soul, and to give you the courage to choose God’s best, even if it looks different from the dream you have written down. The Lord’s love for you is greater than you will ever know, and in His presence, you will find that He is sufficient. Let that love spark a trust in you that is willing to wait in separation from anything unclean, so that your life may be a holy dwelling place for Him.
